Happy #thankfulThursday 🎉 Before the past year ended, I did make a plan on the topics of my daily posts. Told myself that on this day, I'll highlight something I'm thankful for. Last week, I was thankful for my self-care opportunity. Today I'm thankful for all the blessings coming my way. I'm happy that I decided I'd have a shift in perspective. For example, I've been working past the usual work hours these few days (and sometimes miss my after work nap). Instead of getting pissed, I'm thankful I have work that enables me to pay the bills and have enough spending money to buy what I need. I notice that makes a whole world of difference.
My goal is to overcome my mobility challenge. During lunch hour earlier, I decided to head to the neighborhood 7-11 store to purchase a loaf of bread, some snacks, and lunch (for a change). Told myself I'd try and be more self-reliant. Tonight, the garbage bin on our floor was not returned again, so I went down to throw my trash on the third floor. 🙌 That's another mini victory for me. 🤣 I'll try and challenge myself more, and perhaps pretty soon I'll be walking like before again. 🙏❤️💡

How timely as the above quote is one of my favorite quotes. Yes, I'm taking small steps daily to achieve my goal for the year. I'm really serious about my road to wellness, but I know it won't happen unless I do something about it. I plan to be more conscious of my food intake and will go for less sugar. That alone is a big challenge, but I know I can do it slowly day by day. I also plan to sign up for the treatment that I saw at the dental / wellness clinic I went to last Saturday. I will need to factor that in the budget. 🤔 Right now, I simply made a list of upgrades / improvements I'd love to see in my life. Writing items down makes me see the bigger picture. The next process is to work on the "how". 😂 I know I will get there somehow.
Today I'm thankful I got the souvenir photos from the 1st Saturday memorial mass and blessing for Mom's vault. This was close to her birth date (6th) so I did not need to order extra flowers for her. It's actually her fourth birthday without her. 😔 Time flies indeed. I still miss her.
Wow, nine days into the new year. Pretty soon, it will be the ninth week, month, etc. 🤣 I focus on mini victories for now. I note it down on my journal as I like to encourage myself and celebrate each one. 🙌 one step at a time... one day at a time...
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. I'm less than thirty cents to $6. Tomorrow will be the crediting of LL coop link promo earnings. I'll see how close it will take me to $6.
