A-ha! It has now been a week since the new month started. 🙌 So far, so good. Twenty-four more days to go. Every day I pray that the rest of the month would bring good, better, and the best days of 2025. 🙏❤️💡 I will claim it so it becomes my reality. 💞

Yesterday was my bank errand day. Funny thing is the day started out cloudy. Then around midmorning, the sun came out. I thought it would be another warm day. However, by noon time, just when I was about to head out to the bank, it became rainy. 😅 I went out anyway, since I do have an umbrella. Plus I really needed the run to the bank for some fiat. 😂 All went well. The heavy downpour did not happen until I was inside the bank already. 🍀 Whew! The rain cooled down the temperature inside the flat once again. Truly grateful for that. 🙏❤️💡 However, I did worry about the meal delivery in the late afternoon. Glad it was but a passing thunderstorm and the rain was not so bad. The thing is it's been dry and sunny again today. 🤣 I will need to check the weather forecast for the coming week, as that's crucial if I would be signing up for another week of meal plan. 🤔

#ThrowbackThursday to a Buddhist temple we visited in Cambodia back in 2020. That was truly the last memorable trip I was able to do. Glad we were able to go before the world practically locked down. 😒 Sadly, my mobility issue got worse when Mom passed in 2021. I did struggle as I was used to doing more things by myself. Thankful that my daughter was here with me to do the outside purchases then. She left for Barcelona towards the end of 2023. I could say I had a year of adjusting to living alone. So what does this story have to do with today's quote? Well, it was just this year when I decided I would change my mindset about my condition. I wanted to feel better and do a little more stuff like I used to -- esp. doing my own purchases. I had acupuncture massage therapy -- completed a total of ten sessions to date. I think what really helped was deciding I'd do my daily walks.

I do plan on increasing my steps, but I will need to do so slowly. When I started, 1.3K was my maximum limit. It would be too painful to go on from there. Gradually, I've been increasing my steps. As of late, 2.5K was my limit, although I would reach some more on good days. For these two days, I tried reaching 3K limit. I'm not sure yet if I'll be ready for this new upper limit. However, I will try. Perhaps if I tell myself I could, I would be able to do it too. 😉

Seven days in.. 24 more to go. I'm still waiting for the latest power bill. For now, that's the only utility bill that's pending. The rest that's left are food expenses (my biggest expense though). I seriously need to think less food. 😂

Yay for this win on FAFY. The extra credit helps me advertise my LL coop link more. Hopefully, that would mean I get to earn more from promotions by end of the week. Let's see.
Below are the affiliate sites I work on daily. New goal is to reach $5 on LL.
That is it for my day. Time to rest and recharge. It's not as cool as it was last night though. It's another day closer to the weekend, so I wish you a wonderful weekend. Nighty night from Manila. Ta-tah! 👋
