Midweek Talk : Our Boys Are Now Home | Alive and Thriving Yr3

Last night, I put on my chef's hat again and cooked chicken dinner that my daughter requested. I have been cooking for quite a long time, and I sometimes run out of ideas of what to cook and how to cook a certain dish.

There I was sitting on our thinking chair (LOL!). Actually, I was just resting and wondering how our boys were doing. Bon and Kuai were picked up by a representative of The Cat Clinic yesterday afternoon. They had to be kept at the clinic overnight.

It turned out I decided to make cheesy chicken afritada by watching some YT videos to review the process. It's pretty simple and easy to prepare. Main ingredients: chicken fillet, potatoes, tomato sauce, grated cheese. I'm glad I got the taste my daughter liked. Whew!

Here are the photos of Bon and Kuai when they were at the clinic. These were sent to us in the morning to show us how they were. Bon was prepped for neutering this morning. Kuai, however, had an infection that he needed to be treated first. He needs to get better before he could be neutered. I guess it will need to be postponed for around a month. Hopefully, he will be well enough by then.

It rained really hard this afternoon. Luckily, the boys were already home before the heavy rain fell. What a timing indeed! It's tough to be a fur parent. I have to come up with an idea and design to incorporate more cat areas in the flat. That way, the cats will have their fave spots and not get in one another's way. It will take time, money, and lots of effort. I may need to learn DIY as well. Wish me luck! I have my hands full with RL goals. See you when I see you next!
