Midweek Talk : The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly

It's midweek once again. Have a happy one. ✨✨

I'm a bit low on happiness and motivation due to the dismal results of the recent election. The honest, competent public servants are in danger of losing to a bunch of clowns who carried popular names. I'm guessing that's why they won. Most Filipinos are celebrity worshippers. I've said that ages ago. They have not gotten past idolatry and the worship of gods. 🤡🤡 so ironic for a country that claims to be Catholic and Christian.

It's beyond my control unless I'm the Scarlet Witch and have the power to annihilate bad guys. 🙄🙄 but this is reality and we will have to live with the consequences chosen by the majority of dumb and dumber Philippine voters. Time for Plan B. Focus on self and family. Work on self-reliance and self-preservation for now. It's also time to clean up my mainstream social media feeds. Good riddance I'd say, 'coz I believe in the adage, "tell me who your friends are, and I'll tell you who you are." Plundering a country at the expense of the population is unacceptable for me. No compromises. Human rights violation is alo a big NO for me. I do not need to be a rocket scientist to know which candidate deserved to run the country. I simply care too much for my country that my heart is bleeding right now. 💔💔

Do your part in fighting disinformation. This is what killed the righteous campaign as they were washed down by false claims that took years in the making. At the end of the day, I still believe that good will somehow rise over and above evil. We can defeat it but we need to be our own heroes fighting the battle ourselves.

Enough of my rant. I know I have been sleeping well 'coz I have a clear conscience and know that I chose well during the election. I stand by what I believe in with conviction. Happy pill for today are the multiple postcards I received in the mail. Yay! 💕💕
