So Daniel's actual birthday lands on the US holiday Thanksgiving every 6 years - and since Daniel is turning 6 years old, we are remembering when he was born... on Thanksgiving! The next time this will happen, Daniel will be turning 12.
I took the children to the Dollar Tree, where most items are $1.25 (used to be $1.00 or less) and they got him a nice variety of fun gifts.
As an extra treat, mamma made waffles for lunch, which everyone enjoyed! Daddy also brought home some roasted chicken, so we enjoyed Chicken and Waffles!
One of Daniel's favorite gifts was a plastic microphone that reverberates when you speak into it. It's mechanical, but he finds it very fun!
He also got a plastic toy dart board, some candy, a squishy ball and a bubble maker and small magnate drawer. His four older siblings were able to give him a giant pile of gifts for under $20.
We still have a Thanksgiving feast to look forward to at Lauren's family's house! We're bringing our appetites, but we don't want to eat too much!
