Well, I would like to do this more extensive and also address the fact that today is Earth Day, I see in the publications of some colleagues, but I really have to run while I still have electricity, to cook, do homework in the house and take out the work that is possible, before the deficient national electricity service leaves me back to the dark and without signal. Domingo, día 772 desde que se declaró la #cuarentena en #Venezuela por la #pandemia de #Covid19, desde ayer he tenido largas horas de estar sin servicio eléctrico, de verdad que es desagradable, más aún es desagradable pensar que ya me estoy acostumbrando a vivir con una miserable calidad de vida. En fin, uno hace lo que se puede con lo que se tiene, siempre se desea estar mejor, pero toca aceptar la realidad en la que uno vive.
Justo por el motivo de que la electricidad regresó hace poco, pero está inestable, es que esta bitácora de hoy la haré un poco breve:
Un día como hoy, en 2012, #Google lanzó Google #Drive, con el objetivo de que los usuarios pudieran crear y alojar en una nube todo tipo de documentos, ya fuesen textos, audios, vídeos, fotografías o lo que sea. Al sumar esto a la implementación de sus aplicaciones ofimáticas gratuitas, con procesador de palabras, hoja de cálculo y diseñador de presentaciones, entones tenemos un producto ganador. En serio que fue algo sorprendente, dio una dura pelea desde el principio a software propietario y aún hoy en día es muy usado, creo que fue el tercer gran servicio de la compañía que alcanzó un éxito tan masivo, el primero sería el propio servicio de motor de búsqueda, el segundo sería su servicio de correo web y este tercero ya de verdad que fue un gran complemento. Aclaro que la actual compañía matriz, #Alphabet, no siempre ha acertado, hay servicios que de verdad que fueron un fracaso, el que más recuerdo es el caso de los Círculos de Google que a la larga se quedaron como un pueblo fantasma, de verdad que no me lo esperaba cuando comenzaron, pero no se logró el gran éxito que se tenía previsto.
Bien, me gustaría hacer esto más extenso y abordar también el hecho de que hoy es el Día de la tierra, según veo en las publicaciones de algunos colegas, pero de verdad que tengo que correr mientras aún tengo electricidad, para cocinar, hacer tareas de la casa y sacar el trabajo que sea posible, antes de que el deficiente servicio eléctrico nacional me deje de nuevo a oscuras y sin señal. Te deseo que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
