Uno podría resolver caminando, pero en una ciudad (incluso si es "pequeña"), llegar de un lado al otro tomaría varias horas para recorrer esos kilómetros, además de que no tengo ni la fortaleza ni la plena seguridad de poder hacer semejante caminata.
Bueno, será ya mañana, debo salir, ojalá que no suceda nada que me vuelva a cambiar los planes. Comento ahora que estamos en el día 774 desde que se anunció la #Cuarentena en #Venezuela por la #Pandemia de #Covid19, me pregunto si llevará la cuenta hasta el final o si me cansaré en algún momento de este actuar, aparentemente inútil, de verdad no lo sé. Revisaba que cosa había pasado hoy en la #historia y me encontré un par de eventos o hechos que se relacionan con un mismo nombre de lugar, uno que he vuelto a escuchar en las noticias por cuestiones relacionadas con la guerra de Rusia y Ucrania:
26 de abril de 1986, ocurrió el Desastre de Chernobyl, cuando explotó el reactor 4 de la Planta de Energía Nuclear de Chernóbil (Planta de Energía Nuclear Vladimir Lenin). Yo vi la noticia en la TV cuando los medios occidentales la dieron a conocer, fue tan escandalosa la falla y el daño que no hubo manera de que la Cortina de Hierro lograra escamotear la noticia y esconder el incidente. Recuerdo que me asustó, siempre asociaba la idea de la contaminación radioactiva con las películas y novelas apocalípticas, en las que la humanidad desgasta y degrada tanto el medio ambiente que la tierra va quedando yerma y marchita... ok, quizás vi muchas películas con estilo de distopías en esa época de mi vida. Como sea, el evento costó muchas vidas, obligó a evacuar una gran cantidad de gente y originó una nube radioactiva que voló libremente sin que se tuviera una manera realista de controlarla, según he visto, la contaminación no va a eliminarse por varios cientos de miles de años, eso es un número demasiado grande.
26 de abril de 1999, se activó el Virus de Computadora Chernobyl (Spacefiller), este virus informático fue creado en 1998, pero varias de sus variantes tenían una fecha de activación de más o menos un año, coincidiendo con el incidente del reactor. Este virus fue muy peculiar, usaba una lógica distinta para ocultar su presencia en los archivos contaminados, eludiendo los antivirus de la época, logrando producir daños en los controladores de dispositivos y, en el peor de los casos, destruyendo la BIOS, sin este firmware la computadora sufría un fallo catastrófico. Este virus fue un trabajo de un estudiante en Taiwán, pero reconoció sus acciones y liberó un programa para contrarrestar las acciones de su virus, Chen Ing-hau aseguraba que estaba tratando de mostrar lo errado y arrogantes que eran las empresas de software antivirus existentes, pero en lo personal, creo que se le pasó la mano y causó un daño a escala internacional seriamente preocupante, se salvó de consecuencias por sus acciones porque no había un marco legal y también porque no hubo una demanda individual en su contra en el sistema legal, pero al ver el desastre provocado, se crearon leyes para prevenir que se repitieran las cosas.
Debo admitir que el actuar del virus, sumado a la fecha apocalíptica de la antesala del cambio de milenio, pues, esa combinación, jugaba nuevamente con un escenario de miedo muy propio de una película de desastres y fin del mundo. Para nuestra buena suerte, nada de esto llevó al fin del mundo, pero ciertamente que cambió un poco el mundo, no siempre los cambios son realizados sin algunos problemas y, en algunos casos, puede que varios sacrificios.
Pasando ahora a reportar cosas personales, bueno, ya dije que no salí de casa, así que te podrás imaginar que fue un día tranquilo para mí, con las fallas eléctricas normales y con el problema de que la señal de Internet se cae durante varios ratos del día, agradeciendo a la lluvia por el agua (que si dependiera solo de las tuberías, pues no tendría agua casi nunca), pero con todo y eso, resulta que estoy mucho mejor que una gran cantidad de gente, es mejor aceptar que esto es lo que tengo y que cuando menos sigo sin hundirme.
