Over the past three days something has been shifting in me. I've honestly been passionate about Hive since I first got here just over a year ago, but within these past three days I've become super-charged passionate about this mind-blowingly magnificent blockchain ecosystem! My motivation to post, along with my creativity and inspiration waned quite a lot for a good chunk of time after my breakup with Kaï, but somehow a fire just got lit inside me once again, but even more brightly than before.
The passion I had is now in overdrive, and is flanked by equally powerful focus, desire, intention, commitment, dedication, excitement, and unwavering tenacity. It's so interesting and curious to me that my breakup with Kaï, my one-year Hive birthday, and this new super-charged passion all happened within a rather short range of time. It also corresponds to me finally letting go of smoking spliffs regularly, which is also notable. Change is in the air it seems!
As an example of this new Hive fire that sparked and grew in me over these three days, is how suddenly and quickly I appeared on, and then rose up the @ecency leaderboard. Today I climbed even higher, to the number 7 position for daily, the number 17 position for weekly, and now the number 42 position for monthly! All in just three days! I'm so utterly surprised and astounded that I'm almost speechless...
My new fire was inspired by several people on Hive that are themselves all-in passionate, like @jongolson, @jimmy.adames, @mypathtofire, @littlebee4, @benthomaswwd, to name just a few. They all know very well that we here in the Hive Blockchain Ecosystem have something truly special, important, powerful, and liberating. There is no other blockchain like Hive (and I've explored several), with all of the brilliant, elegant, and integrated features that Hive has, and we're just getting started!
I've talked here about Bastyon/Pocketnet a few times. It's also a open-source, decentralized, web3 cryptosocial blockchain, with many similarities to Hive, though Hive is far more developed and larger. I discovered and created an account on Bastyon back on February 4, 2021, and before I knew about Hive, Bastyon was where my passion was, because it was, and is, amazing in many ways. When I found and created an account on Hive on September 23, 2021, my perspective shifted very quickly, because I was utterly blown away by Hive! I still love Bastyon, and I log in often to engage the people there to help support the platform, but my solid digital home is now Hive. Hive, like my other deep tech love Arch Linux, just seems to fit me really well, and for many of the same reasons.
Because I was so excited last night, I created an new Hive logo image to use in my posts, to join the Arch Linux logo image that I created years ago. 😁
