The beginning of these posts was my My Life Just Hit a Brick Wall at High Velocity, on the Cusp of My 50th Birthday: Mid Life Crisis 101 post. I link that post because I want to give my readers some useful context for what I write in these posts.
Warm greetings all! 🙏 💚
I've been back at GaiaYoga Gardens for almost two weeks now, and I keep feeling better and better internally and in my life. I love my life more and more ever day now. Holy jumping fuckmuffins have I shifted! I guess leaving GYG to be with Kaï in Seaview, her leaving me for someone else and breaking up with me six days before my birthday, having to move and find a new suitable place for myself and my plants, living in Nanawale for just over a month and a week in an environment that was not at all good for me, and having so much difficulty in finding a place that actually worked for me, was all necessary to get me to this exquisite experience of my life now here at GaiaYoga.
I have so much overflowing gratitude now. And with that also immense passion and purpose flowing through my being, and stronger all the time. I am right now in the midst of creating the life I truly want, need, and love. GaiaYoga Gardens is home, and I'm turning my beatiful home into heaven on earth. I feel my life energy buzzing and bubbling, overflowing and bursting forth from every nook and cranny of my being and my life. My God does it feel good to be alive!
In my post yesterday I mentioned that I had scheduled a session with Lyra this morning at 10AM up at the Flow House. I had an abbreviated version of my morning superfood fire coffee and Hive post ritual, though thankfully I was able to finish and publish my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: Trust, Surrender, and Inspired Action post, and finish my superfood coffee before Lyra arrived. Since it was her first time coming to GaiaYoga, she was about fifteen minutes late, which was expected. After a conversation to set the container for the session, we stated about 10:30AM and finished at 2:45PM, so it was a four-hour-and-fifteen-minute session, which is the usual length for my sessions (I'm very thorough). She left very grateful and happy, which was exactly my desire and intention. It was a beautiful session. I love the work I do so much!
Lyra also wants to come spend time here at GaiaYoga, naked and barefooted, close to Earth and Nature, to reset her system. I keep feeling that this place would be very good for her, though I think that if she comes and stays for a while, and really gets a taste of how she can live, that she may not want to leave. I would not be sad about that. 😉😁
After the session, and saying good bye to Lyra, I caught up on Hive for a short bit, but I wanted to go do some work on the land or in my nursery before it got too late. I grabbed my trusty Fijian machete and cleared around one of the three surviving mamaki - Pipturus albidus. I also cleared to and around my Chinese/Vietnamese weeping babyan - Ficus benjamina, that I planted at the base of the lava wall that is now the end of Noni Farms/Pu'u'ā Road, the day after Thanksgiving, almost two years ago. It is getting bloody huge, which is really exciting and wonderful to see!
After clearing those two areas, I cleaned up the upper coco bar after the wild pigs had made a mess of it last night. This entailed chopping all used coconuts into quarters (so they don't collect rain water, as that is a breeding spot for mosquitos), collecting all the used coconuts that the pigs had tossed asunder, and dumping the wheelbarrow full of chopped coconuts on some trees or bamboo for mulch, which feeds them over time.
After cleaning the coconut bar, I collected and took another two wheelbarrow's full of my plants down to my new nursery area. I know I said that I had already taken most of my plants down there, but I have a lot of plants, in multiple areas, so my 'stragglers' are actually several full wheelbarrows more...😂.
I finished working just before sunset, took a quick shower, then made myself some quick food in the Landing, as I had not eaten anything since my superfood fire coffee in the morning. Once I ate, I went to Tutu to drink some water, and collect some onions, tomatoes, and olive oil for the Landing. I ended up staying far longer than expected because Brittany had made Jo a cake for her birthday (which was yesterday), and wanted to sing her happy birthday. Jo wanted to forget that it was her birthday, and wanted to run from people singing to her, but she grinned and bared it. The natural chocolate cake that Brittany made was super rich and delicious, but it was too sweet for me, so I could only eat a few bites before I was done. After hanging out with everyone for a while, I returned to the Landing to drop off the food supplies, then came up here to the Flow House to catch up on Hive once again, and to write this post.
So today was a Sunday very well spent and enjoyed. I did meaningful work in the session with Lyra, on the land, and on Hive as well. What a beautiful Sunday!
And with that my dear friends, I shall now take my leave for the night. I wish you all a truly exquisite and nourishing night! G'Night for now! Until tomorrow! 🙏💚 ⚡ 💥 🔥 👣 🌱
