The beginning of these posts was my My Life Just Hit a Brick Wall at High Velocity, on the Cusp of My 50th Birthday: Mid Life Crisis 101 post. I link that post because I want to give my readers some useful context for what I write in these posts.
Warm greetings all! 🙏 💚
I love myself!
I love my life!
I am overwhelmingly grateful!
I am so blessed!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Thank you!
That is a affirmation/mantra/prayer that I've repeated to myself (and taught to others) for years now, and I can honestly say that in my life now, those words are absolutely accurate and true. As I've been sharing here in these posts, since returning to GaiaYoga Gardens seventeen days ago, I've experienced, or I created, a momentous shift within myself, that has completely transformed my experience of myself, my life, and being back here at GaiaYoga. And this shift is not done and complete, but is ongoing, and seemingly growing in effect. Inner alchemy kind of stuff.
Because it's Thursday, my morning superfood fire coffee/Hive post up at the Flow House had to be paused for a while because I attended the NVC-focused (Non-violent Communication) morning community meeting, which I quite enjoyed. I just feel good now, so I'm enjoying most things that I do.
When the meeting was finished, I (of course!) returned to the Flow House to catch up on Hive, and create and publish my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: Focus on What You Want, Not on a Particular Outcome post. Every day I do these a new 'focus' for the post pops into my awareness, and I find quotes that speak to it, then I add my perspective on this focus and the quotes that expound upon it. It's a thoroughly fun, engaging, and quite amazing process. Because the meeting lasted so long, I didn't publish my morning post until almost 1PM, which is a fair bit later than usual. All good, though, I roll with it!
Upon finishing both my post and my superfood fire coffee, I went to sharpen my machete for another round of work with Ano. Before going to find Ano, I went to take a look at my nursery, because Ano told me that when they were moving Daisy the cow, that she had gone through it again. That is not what I wanted to hear, but it turned out to not be so bad. Yes, there were a few broken or damaged plants, but nothing that shouldn't recover. Once I verified that everything was OK, I went to find Ano.
Ano wanted to go clear the trails and around important food plants (mostly young coconut palms and bananas) in the front orchard. Before heading there however, I cleared around one of the giant timber bamboos (Dendrocalamus giganteus) up on the first driveway (we have two). There were quite a lot of little fire ants there, so I had to go take a shower to help alieviate the intense itchy burn before going to work in the front orchard.
I started clearing up front before Ano arrived, as he remembered that he had to send an important email, but he joined me in short order. We worked intensely for about two hours without stopping. The clearing work was not easy in several areas due to very dense vegetation, but we successfully cleared a good portion of the orchard. We stopped when we both got hungry.
After another shower, I was off to the Landing to make myself some quick food. I eat a lot of eggs and veggies, and today was no exception. I went up to the Flow House to enjoy my meal, and catch up on Hive before going to get a few more things done before sunset.
I chopped and opened an older 'shaker' coconut to extract the meat to put in a jar in the fridge for my morning superfood fire coffee. I'm fast, so that was done in only a few minutes.
The second thing that I wanted to do was to strain another round of kefir. This time I took photos of the whole process, which I used to create my Homemade Raw Cow Milk Kefir Tutorial. I inoculated two new jars this time, one for me and one for Fiona, who expressed interest in starting to make her own.
Once the kefir was done, Fiona and I went down to the nursery area to pot up some krishna tulsi cuttings accidentally broken off during our garden weeding yesterday, and to plant some tamarind seeds. We finished up just as it was beginning to get dark. We walked back to the Landing, and she collected her new jar of milk inoculated with kefir.
After saying good bye to Fiona, I came up to the Flow House to create and publish my kefir post, and to begin this one. I'm feeling pretty bloody hungry again, so I think I'm going to walk down to the Landing real quick to make myself a sourdough grilled cheese. That sounds good to me right now. 😁
So with that, I wish you all love, joy, meaning, and peace! G'Night for now! I deeply appreciate you all! 🙏 💚 ⚡ 💥 🔥 👣 🌱
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
