I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
I've been investing hard into a whole host of diesel/liquidity pools for most of this year, working to bring as many as I can past the threshold for liquidity pool rewards and/or pool fees, and I've substantially increased my liquidity in a great many within that time, which has steadily continued to bump up my returns. In a recent post I mentioned how one of the previously top pools for pool fees, DEC:SPS, had seen a notable change to its APR, and with it an apparent increase in liquidity by liquidity providers to compensate, which for me meant that the excellent pool fees that I was earning in that pool up until that point abruptly stopped. Along with that, the claimable pool rewards for three main pools were removed from Splinterlands.com, which meant that I no longer had any benefit to keeping my assets in that pool any longer, at least with the level of liquidity that I had, so I finally removed them, to reallocate to more profitable pools.
I set my sights on the two top-most pools, with the highest pool fees earned, SWAP.HIVE:DEC and SWAP.HIVE:SPS, both of which have notably lower liquidity than the DEC:SPS pool, which I was guessing would translate into lower payout thresholds for pool fees. Since SWAP.HIVE:DEC had the lowest liquidity, and the absolute highest pool fees earned, I focused on that one first, adding a good bit of DEC and SWAP.HIVE to it every day. I wasn't earning any pool fees for the first few days, but with the chunk of assets that I added last night, they finally did kicked in, and holy moly did they ever! I've honestly never seen pool fees accrue so quickly, and that's still with quite low liquidity. I still have several hundred DEC to add to the pool, which should very strongly increase the pool fees being earned.
My hunch that because the SWAP.HIVE:DEC pool had much lower liquidity than the DEC:SPS pool, that the threshold for pool fees would also be lower, turned out to be accurate, with pool fees now growing quickly with a surprisingly low level of liquidity. Once I have all the DEC in my wallet added to this pool, then I'll switch my focus to the SWAP.HIVE:SPS pool, that based on its liquidity, should have a threshold for pool fees somewhere between the SWAP.HIVE:DEC and the DEC:SPS pools.
Along with those two pools, I've also been adding assets to several more new pools as well, including multiple BEE pools, with pool fees already being triggered for some, and I've got my sights on many more. I presently have assets in 105 different liquidity pools, most of which are already earning liquidity rewards and/or pool fees, and I'm working on those that still aren't. I will say, some pools are indeed far more profitable than others.
While I am focusing my main efforts on the most profitable pools, I'm also still adding assets to a lot of the smaller, and less-used pools as well, because I want to help add value to the associated tokens by providing swapping/trading liquidity, as a good portion of the value of an asset is how easily it can be exchanged for others. The total fiat-dollar value of my assets in diesel/liquidity pools, at the present prices, is getting close to $500, with it soon to be on par with the fiat value of the layer-2 tokens in my wallet, which is pretty amazing. My assets in diesel/liquidity pools are like seed funds in many savings accounts, some of which pay daily dividends, and most of which are now growing on their own. Yep, it would seem that my investment into diesel/liquidity pools is definitely paying off, and as I've said, this is only the beginning!
Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, a little after 2PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and straining and blending kefir in the Landing. With those done, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, after which I got my machete to do some clearing on various spots near and around the Landing. I also chopped and dumped bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and tidied up the area a bit. With my land tasks done for the day, I took a shower, then I stopped by the Landing to make myself some food (a simple grilled cheese, on sourdough, with mixed mustards), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I headed back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by just before 10PM, and after some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed just before 12:30AM. I woke up just after 7AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:45PM, so it's a great time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's incarnation of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
