I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
I'm sad to say that my next upcoming fiat investment into Hive has been delayed, as my crypto-loving jungle neighbor, who assists me in swapping cash for crypto, and with whom I was scheduled to meet today, texted me this morning to let me know the he won't he able to come over due to being sick and feverish. We still need to coordinate another time to get it done, but I'm not sure when that will be yet. I'm really hoping it's some time this coming week. This is a setback, but I'll work to get it done and completed as soon as possible.
On a positive note, I crossed the threshold of 10,600 Hive Power yesterday afternoon, and by more than I expected, so that was a nice surprise. For the record, I reached 10,000 HP on June 20th, 10,100 HP on June 30th, 10,200 HP on July 8th, 10,300 HP on July 21st, 10,400 HP on August 1st, 10,500 HP on August 7th, and 10,600 HP yesterday, August 16th, which is rather variable, but the pace does see to be picking up a bit, especially compared to previous months. How quickly it's accelerating is both surprising and exciting in equal measure. It used to take me two weeks to gain 100 HP outside of HPUD weeks, and now I'm edging closer to a week.
HP Gain Breakdown
10,000 HP to 10,100 HP: 10 days
10,100 HP to 10,200 HP: 8 days
10,200 HP to 10,300 HP: 13 days
10,300 HP to 10,400 HP: 11 days
10,400 HP to 10,500 HP: 6 days
10,500 HP to 10,600 HP: 9 days
This acerlerating HP growth is coming from consistently-inceasing post payouts, a higher APR for HP with its presently lower fiat value, more HIVE coming in for better HPUD powerups, and of course from my ever-increasing Hive Power in relation to the APR. At my current rate of growth, I may indeed reach 11,000 HP in one month's time. We shall see!
On a slightly different investment topic, I've been analyzing, observing, and studying the plethora of diesel/liquidity pools where I have assets, and something that came to mind is that if multiple liquidity providers have the same number of shares in a pool, then they will all receive the same pool fees, which means that in relation to each other those earned fees likely wouldn't increase. For higher pool fees to be earned, It would be necessary for more liquidity to be added. So the pool fees earned, and which are compounded into the total stake, wouldn't necessarily contribute to the increasing fees being earned without more liquidity being added, or other liquidy providers removing liquidity.
If this is the case, then it hits home the necessity of continuing to add liquidity to pools over time to increase the amount of fees earned. The more we have the faster it grows, but in regard to diesel/liquidity pools, for our growth not to be mostly linear, more added liquidity is needed. This idea just recently came to me, so I still have to put it the test. I'm actually hoping that I'm wrong, because that would mean less effort and focus on my part. In all of my Hive investments, I'm always working to optimize and increase my leverage, my income, and my asset generation, which allows me to invest more, and thus grow faster.
Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, quite early, around 12:45PM, giving my attention to some photography for my posts, and straining and blending kefir, first. Once I had those done, I got my machete and did another round of clearing in various areas. When I finished with that, I took a shower, then sunbathed on the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn for a short while. After having my fill of sun, I stopped my the Landing to collect some leftover food, and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with those in hand(s), I made my way back to the Flow House, to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by just after 10PM, and after some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed a bit before 11:45AM. I woke up way too early, before 5AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:15PM, so quite a good time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
