I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Yesterday my dear Hive friend, Ben Thomas (@benthomaswwd), who created and runs the exceptional Heartbeat on Hive (@heartbeatonhive) project, sent out an email where he called Hive a financial alliance. This resonates with me so deeply because that's how I see Hive, too. Ben wrote:
We are all not just staked to the platform but also to each other.
If you grow financially then so does someone else and when you are part of a reward system like this in a community when the community grows, then everyone in that community will benefit.
This is a beautifully succinct and simple description of the powerful dynamic and interaction that we have going on here on this glorious Blockchain. We exist in a mutually-beneficial, symbiotic relationship, where we support and lift each other ever-higher.
This Hive Alliance is financial, however, from my perspective it includes and transcends that very important aspect into a far greater whole that signifies at its core nothing less than true human freedom, empowerment, and sovereignty on Earth. With it we are able to successfully get around the tentacles of the slave system, to create something truly good for humanity.
What we have is indeed an alliance, and a decentralized and global one, where we the people of the world are coming together to cooperate, collaborate, and co-create a more beautiful and just world, while we circumvent, and at some point replace, the present dominant global slave system. Exciting stuff indeed!
This is my desire, intention, goal, and perspective, as I build, grow, and interconnect here every day. We are all in this together, we rise by lifting others, and we're here to help and support, not harm, each other. Together we thrive, my friends!
The past several days have been quite warm, even a little hot, and sunny, with very little rain. Because everything dries out so quickly here (because porous lava underlies us), the plants are beginning to show stress from lack of water. Since the sun has been so intense during a good portion of the day, I've been starting my work day on the land later than usual.
I mentioned in the last iteration of this post that I didn't sleep well the night before. I stayed in bed later than usual, so I ended up finishing making my superfood fire coffee just before the community NVC meeting yesterday. After the meeting, I stayed up at the Flow House, writing this post's previous incarnation, and then catching up and doing various Hive tasks, until about 4:30PM (aside from making Io some eggs in the morning).
When I left the Flow House, I first focused on taking some photos for this post, and then I went to do some land work with @aukuna, which consisted of planting a Malabar chestnut - Pachira glabra tree (that I had in my nursery) in the orchard along the main trail, and continuing with the machete clearing that I had begun the day before on this section of the land. @aukuna and I worked until just before dark, and we were able to get a very good amount of land cleared. We both felt accomplished and satisfied with the work that we had done.
After working, I took a wonderfully hot shower, strained out more kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, got food supplies from Tutu's, and then finally made food for myself in the Landing. I didn't get back to the Flow House until about 8PM, quite a bit later than usual. Thankfully I didn't have too much catching up to do on Hive, and after getting a few Blockchain tasks done, I went to sleep about 10:30PM.
I did sleep very well last night, and I woke up early, just before 5AM, at which point I did some Hive catch-up and a few tasks, then I went back to sleep about 6AM until just after 8AM. It's now almost 12PM, so I think I'll end this post now, so that I can get into another round of Hive catch-up and tasks, before land work in the late afternoon. I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow morning! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚
