I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Over the past few months I've been talking quite a lot about my passion for sovereignty-driven technology like Hive, and other open-source, decentralized/distributed, community-based, Allied Blockchain Nations, such as Bastyon, Qortal, Koinos, and Holochain. Every one of these Blockchain Ecosystems has areas where they excel, as well as areas where there are some challenges, and where inter-community and inter-project collaboration and cooperation would be quite useful.
I'm very picky, or discerning, depending on your perspective, of technology, which is in part why I was so enthralled by Hive when I first arrived here over two years ago, as it's based on solid technology. Hive to me is incredible, and for a whole host of reasons, which is why I've been so passionately all in since I got here. I also always have my eyes and ears open for other truly sovereignty-aligned and driven projects, which I come across from time to time, and over time, I explore more deeply. These explorations make it clear to me that there are quite a few exceptional people working on some equally exceptional projects.
What also has become clear to me is that many of these fantastic projects are like islands unto themselves, and me being the integrator and interconnector that I am, I have the strong desire to see these various sovereignty-driven Blockchain Nations interconnect, cooperate, and collaborate with each other, as I believe that this would strongly benefit and strengthen them all. Since I have my foot in the door, so to speak, in three of these Blockchain Ecosystems, Bastyon, Hive, and Qortal, and because I deeply appreciate and respect all of them, I've become something of an unofficial ambassador between these Blockchain Nations, sharing my persepctives and information about the others when I'm doing my thing on any one of them, always with the intention to create greater interconnection, good will, and friendship between them.
As an example of this, yesterday on Qortal, a proposal to add three new crypto coins to Qortal's internal decentralized exchange was brought up for vote by Qortians. I expressed my excitement to see more coins being added, and I said that with me being so active on Hive, I'd of course love to see HIVE and HBD added too. I also mentioned that adding Bastyon's PKOIN would also be useful. One of the developers who saw my comment thanked me, and said that he had already been looking into both Hive and Bastyon, and that he'd keep my suggestions in mind.
Another example from today is the first post that I made on Bastyon in a very long time, talking about my passion for sovereignty-driven technology, where I mentioned Hive, Qortal, Koinos, and Holochain, and how I feel that it's very important for these Blockchain Nations to interconnect, cooperate, and collaborate with each other. In my post, I also asked the opinions of people there about my idea of posting links to my daily Hive posts, in a similar manner of how I do on X. The response so far has been positive, so it's looking like after I publish each post, that I'll then share links to them on both X and Bastyon. This excites me, because it means that I'll have a renewed presence on Bastyon and I'll be growing on that blockchain again, I'll be sharing my daily thoughts and activities with people there, and I'll be introducing Hive to them as well, just as I introduce those here to Bastyon. That sounds pretty win-win to me!
I rather like the idea being an Allied Blockchain Nation Ambassador, and I feel that I could potentially do a lot of good for all of these exceptional Blockchain Ecosystems! That sounds great to me! I'll just keep doing what I can to create greater camaraderie and understanding, so that cooperation and collaboration become ever-more probable!
Yesterday, being Thursday, and Thanksgiving Day, had me attending the community NVC meeting in the morning from 9AM until about 11:30AM, doing my usual round of essential Hive tasks in the afternoon, along with taking photos for this post, and then helping out with a Thanksgiving Day tree planting (even though one of the plants that was planted was a bamboo, and not a tree). We planted a Malaysian dwarf coconut palm, a Central-American calabash/gourd tree (that one was mine), and a small plant of one of the largest bamboos in the world, Dendrocalamus giganteus. After the planting, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of Melochia and gunpowder tree leaves for the next morning's cow milking food. Given that we're kind of a skeleton crew in this community at the moment, the only thing that I did different yesterday was being a part of the informal planting ritual.
After planting and collecting cow food, I took a shower, strained out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, got leftover food from the Landing fridge, got my kitty friend some food, then I headed back to the Flow House for my evening round of Hive catch-up and tasks. I was able to finish that just before 10PM, amazingly, and I went to bed just before 11PM. I slept well until I woke up around 1:30AM, and not being able to sleep more, I used my time to complete @benthomaswwd's @heartbeatonhive contest and some token management, before attempting to get back to sleep. Unfortunately I wasn't able to do so, and I definitely felt it when I got out of bed around 8AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.
The time is now just past 1:30PM, so it's a good time to end this post, so that I can get to my afternoon round of Hive essential tasks, and then go to focus on land work in the later afternoon. I deeply appreciate you all very much! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
