I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
One of the benefits to doing my Goals and Progress Updates weekly is that it keeps my eyes on everything more regularly, so that I am able to see when certain things need adjustments or changes. This allows me to optimize and refine token dynamics over time, which is good for me, and it also makes it possible for me to provide more value to my fellow Hivers/Hivians with whom I interact regularly.
I've had the intention to get my tipping tokens in order for a while now, and it's been over the last few weeks that I've finally been getting it straightened out, so that I have a good array of tokens to use for tipping people every day. Because I delegate so many tokens to various layer-2 curation accounts, some of which are tipping tokens, I knew that I needed a new strategy to deal with those delegated tip tokens if I had any hope of actually using them for tipping. Over the past two weeks or so I had an idea for how to manage this situation in a workable manner.
I'll use the example of ALIVE, but it also applies to tokens such as PGM, PIMP, SLOTHBUZZ, among others. Basically I'll stake and accumulate undelegated ALIVE until I get to the first level of tipping ability, which for ALIVE is 1,000 tokens staked to be able to tip 10 times per day. Once that first level is reached then I'll choose a new set target to reach for delegations, say to get all accounts to 5,000 ALIVE delegated. When that is completed successfully, then I'll focus on reaching the next tipping level for staked and undelegated tokens, which for ALIVE is 5,000 staked. I'll keep going back and forth between staked and undelegated, and staked and delegated, ALIVE (or whichever other token is my focus), until I reach the maximum tipping level, then the rest will all go to delegations after that. This will work pretty well I think, and it will allow me to strike a useful and necessary balance.
As I was compiling the token data for my Goals and Progress Update last night, I noticed a change that I could make, a reallocation of certain assets, that would provide a greater benefit over time. I had assets in three related diesel/liquidity pools, PSX:SWAP.HBD, SWAP.HBD:CENT, and SWAP.HBD:PEPE, with SWAP.HBD being the most valuable, so being able to grow my holding of that is a priority. Only one of these three pools pays our SWAP.HBD daily, the SWAP.HBD:CENT pool, so I had a moment of clarity, where I could see that removing my token assets from the other two pools, and reallocating the SWAP.HBD to the one with CENT, would allow me to grow it much more quickly than would be possible if I kept it in all three pools. The SWAP.HBD:CENT pool also has its rewards ending before the other two, though the one with PEPE is not too far behind, so I decided to make use of it while they were still operating. I'll see if the rewards are renewed after they expire, and decide where best to allocate the SWAP.HBD that I've made. I very well may put assets back into the pools with PEPE and PSX.
Since SWAP.HBD is pegged to the same HIVE value as HBD, it has a lot of bang for the buck, so to speak! If I'm able to accumulate a good amount, this could definitely come in handy later, either as a source of funds to buy more income tokens, to add to other diesel/liquidity pools, or even to convert into HIVE to power up. I wish that there were a way to convert SWAP.HBD directly into HBD, in the same manner the SWAP.HIVE can be easily converted into HIVE!
As you can see with the examples above, I'm always seeking to use the assets that I have in a manner where they provide the greatest possible benefit to myself and to others. This is how I do everything on Hive, always working toward MMB, or Maximum Mutual Benefit. Win-win is the way to go!
My Sunday, yesterday, was mostly cloudy, rainy, and very Hive focused, with a small amount of time in the afternoon being spent on taking photos for this post (it's funny that the sun peeked out a bit at the end), collecting cow food, straining out and blending kefir, and making food for myself. The whole rest of the day was devoted to Hive tasks, catching up on notification, token management, and of course compiling the token data for, and writing, My 80th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: 3/3 Weekly Goals Exceeded, and 6,000 HP Before Year's End! post, which I finally completed and published just about 1:30AM, definitely later than I had hoped. I crashed into bed very soon after, and while I could have used more sleep, I woke up around 6:30AM, did a quick round of token management, then I completed @benthomaswwd's @heartbeatonhive contest, before getting out of bed just before 9AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.
The time is now just after 1:15PM, so it's a very good time to end this post, so that I may get to my afternoon round of essential Hive tasks, before going to take photos for the next version of this post, and to focus on land work in the later afternoon. I deeply appreciate you all so very much! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
