I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
There's a nifty new investment-analysis tool that Bjorn (@borniet) has been working on since the beginning of the year, when his limited time has permited, that I finally got a chance to test out for the first time last night, and more again this morning, Hive Earnings. It's still a work-in-progress, but even at this stage it offers some very useful investment-allocation insights. When Bjorn first tried it out himself, he mentioned that he was considering making some changes to his own investments based on what he learned. After having tried it out using a few different time scales (7 days, 30 days, 180 days), I now definitely understand what he meant, as that's what I'm also thinking about doing after seeing my income in HIVE and HBD from various sources over time.
While this tool only covers layer-1 earnings at the moment, assessing layer 2 assets, especially SWAP.HIVE from income tokens and diesel/liquidity pools, is on the list of features to implement. While I look forward to that, the clarity that Hive Earnings gave me on just my layer-1 investments is already very helpful, and it will inform my decisions moving forward. Although I won't be removing any delegations, or selling any income tokens, based on the information that I learned, I will indeed be focusing more strongly on boosting the highest-earning allocations.
Some income tokens, that I mostly receive from HP delegations, like BRO, EDSI, and LGN, don't pay out a lot of HIVE for me yet, but since I'll continue to passively accumulate them from my delegations, my HIVE income from those assets will also keep growing. So while I likely won't delegate more HP to their respective curation accounts for now, I won't remove them either, as they'll all become more useful as time progresses.
Not unexpectedly, I found that four specific investment allocations, my BEE delegated to @bee.voter, my POB delegated to @pob.voter, and my BXT and INCOME tokens, which were already on my list of high-priority investments to grow, turned out to be the stars of the show, so Hive Earnings verified and corroborated the usefulness of my choice to invest more deeply in them. Now I just need sufficient SWAP.HIVE liquidity to acquire more BXT and INCOME, possibly with the returns from the wrap-up of the XV investment project in two months. I'm still eyeing those cheap XV tokens on the market, in hopes of getting ahold of at least another handful of them before the project is brought to an end (for this round of it at least).
It's interesting that the two highest-performing income tokens, BXT and INCOME (of the two, INCOME pays out quite a bit more, but they're also much most costly to buy or swap than BXT), can't be acquired from delegating HP, which would also tend to have the effect of making their prices higher. It's also quite interesting that all four of these high-priority allocations are layer-2 investments, that benefit my layer-1 growth. I wish that there were a layer-1 investment that boosted my layer-2 SWAP.HIVE as effectively, which is a big reason that I dove in so deep into various diesel/liquidity pools, as they are one of the best sources for daily SWAP.HIVE. As I continue to gain ever-greater clarity around my investment allocations, I'll keep honing, focusing, improving, and refining them as I go, to generate constantly-growing streams of income and liquidity in HIVE and SWAP.HIVE, and all sorts of other useful and valuable assets. Massive growth and inexhaustible liquidity are the goals!
Yesterday, Wednesday, after finishing up my Hive tasks, I prepared for a session at 1:30PM, which started on time. The session ended just about 5PM, and afterward I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and then I headed straight back to the Flow House, to dive into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by around 12AM, and after some asset management, and checking in on Qortal, I went to bed, too late, just before 1AM. I woke up just before 7AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, starting on this post, then getting out of bed around 8AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:30PM, so an excellent time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to first focus on photography for these posts and for my entry in the Shadow Hunters Contest, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my entry for the Shadow Hunters Contest later this evening, and the next iteration of this post tomorrow! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
