Chapter 3: Whose Servant Are You?
"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey?" — Romans 6:16
Every day, you are making choices: to serve God or serve sin. Your obedience reveals your master. If you constantly yield to the desires of the flesh, then sin is your master, not Christ. But if you submit to the Spirit, you begin to walk in true freedom.
Chapter 4: Jesus, the Living Word
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." — John 14:6
Jesus is not just the way to the Father — He is also the Word made flesh. To embrace Christ is to embrace His Word. That is why the Word has power to save, deliver, cleanse, and renew.
"The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple." — Psalm 119:130
Fill your heart and mind with the Word, and darkness will flee. The Word transforms the mind and crucifies the flesh. The more you feed on it, the more your spirit grows stronger.
Chapter 5: Walk in the Spirit
"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." — Galatians 5:16
Living in the Spirit is not automatic. It is a choice. You must feed your spirit, renew your mind, and starve the desires of the flesh. Only then will the "new man" grow and reign.
Let the Word dwell in you richly. Let the Spirit lead your steps. And let the old man be crucified daily.
"If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." — 2 Corinthians 5:17
Final Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I surrender my mind, my will, and my desires to You. Crucify my flesh and renew my spirit. Let Your Word take root in my heart. I choose to walk in the Spirit and live a life that pleases You. Amen.
