It's always nice to witness the sunrise!

Little Man looking for seashells.

The water was calm and warm like it was inviting me for a swim!

Early bees get the nectar.

Forty-two minutes was not enough.
The sedentary lifestyle I've pretty much exercised for almost three years since the pandemic broke is slowly taking its toll and it is very much evident in my waistline and face! You know, it's like my face won't fit on the frame on each selfie (hence avoided). What's worse, it is also starting to affect my health. Nope, not good.
So I've taken a good slap recently and realized that I need to take action to make amends for all the inactivity.
Steps! Steps! Steps!
I'm going back to aiming for at least 10,000 steps each day. From barely a thousand these past many months, I am challenging myself to get out there and get those numbers on the pedometer.
Today, I went to the beach for my early morning exercise. It's something I am not used to doing but is really wonderful that I plan on going back tomorrow. How nice it is to witness the sunrise while feeling the cool breeze coming from the sea! Of course, I totally love the feeling of the soft, fine sand between my toes.
The water was perfect -- I almost regretted I did not bring my swimming suit. For the most time, I walked knee-deep in the water for some resistance. Little Man came with me and spent the time looking for shells at the shore.
Is there anyone else who could say, on their Wednesday Walk, that they walked with fish? LOL. There were lots of small fish that seemed to be racing with me. At one point, they rushed to the shore and made a loud splashing sound that took me by surprise, I let out a loud yelp.
"Don't be scared, they're just fish," the lifeguard said.
Nope, not scared! But I was totally taken aback. I did not see that coming. LOL.
I would have loved to stay at the beach longer but there was still breakfast to be prepared for the family and an appointment to be met, so I left after just almost one hour.
