Hike to Es Cavallet and Strawberry Moon

A few weeks ago I went hiking with my work colleagues to a nature reserve in Ibiza called. La Salinas. It is a nature reserve that is characterized by having flamingos in the area in the summer season. However both this year and last year, apparently the flamingos have decided to migrate can be seen quite well in Formentera the island in front of Ibiza . Also this year. Caminata a Es Cavallet y Luna de Fresa

Hace una semanas me fui de caminata con mis compañeras del trabajo a una reserva natural que se encuentra en Ibiza llamada. La Salinas. Es una reserva natural que se caracteriza por tener flamencos en la zona en la época de verano. Sin embargo tanto este año como el anterior, aparentemente los flamencos han decidido emigrar pueden verse bastante bien en Formentera la isla frente a Ibiza . Igualmente este mismo año. Muchas personas aseguran haberlos visto gozando en la Salinas iniciar una travesía sin saber muy bien por dónde ir.

La misma consistía en caminar desde plaza de Boza la playa que está más en la zona de Ibiza hasta las Salinas, así que empezamos a andar por un descampado que aparentemente nos conocían directo hacia este lugar aunque la Salinas es toda una zona con lagunas y salitre desemboca tanto en la playa las Salinas como también en la playa Cavallet mientras caminábamos nos encontramos con un caudal de agua estancada era un cauce una especie de canal de acequia que no tenía movimiento alguno en su interior. Se estaba creando vida entonces tuvimos que tomar una decisión, ir por la ruta que estaba totalmente transitada y que no ofrecía ningún sendero para el peatón o abrirnos y empezar a caminar por el monte.

In truth we found with the pink moon the strawberry moon that was quite famous here in the south of Spain well better said in this island we were a while in Xcaret and we tried that the night did not catch us to return and we did not know if we would find the easy way back already little safe and slower. When we started walking, we could enjoy a sunset that although it was happening on the opposite side of the island, was bathing us with beautiful rays and was letting us know through the flowers, grasses, shrubs and was being reflected in the lagoons of the Salinas is as I mentioned previously is a nature reserve that is highly protected in Spain really fine you.

Empezamos a caminar por el monte, pero la verdad es que no sé que se puso muy complicado, sino que además eso no nos conocía a ninguna playa solamente nos conducía a un mirador que no sabíamos muy bien dónde quedaba ni que era se encontraba en lo alto aquella colina.

Por ese motivo decidimos bajar después de casi caernos, embarrarnos, rasparnos con las hierbas crecientes, y después de que nos picara muchos insectos, bajamos y logramos encontrar otra vez la ruta, la ruta por donde nos llevó, no nos importaba llegar a la Salinas solamente nos importaba llegar a una playa y esa playa fue Cavallet para mí fue la primera vez que estaba en ese lugar me pareció una playa muy bonita nos sentamos ahí un momento ya se había hecho la hora de la tardecer y lo que nosotras estábamos buscando.

En verdad encontramos con la luna luna rosa la luna de fresa que fue bastante famosa aquí en el sur de España bueno mejor dicho en esta isla estuvimos un rato en Xcaret y procuramos que la noche no nos agarrara para volver y no sabíamos si encontraríamos el camino sencillo de vuelta ya poco aseguras y con más lentitud. Cuando empezamos a caminar, pudimos disfrutar de un atardecer que aunque estaba ocurriendo en el lado opuesto de la isla, nos estaba bañando con rayos preciosos y estaba dejando saber por entre las flores, las hierbas, los arbustos y se estaba reflejando en las lagunas de las Salinas está como mencionaba previamente es una reserva natural que está sumamente protegida en España realmente te multan.

Una vez habiendo regresado a Playa d’en Bossa empezamos a revisar en una aplicación que no recuerdo cómo se llama porque no la tengo una aplicación de astronomía empezamos a buscar por donde saldría la luna y afortunadamente la luna iba a salir frente a nosotras el horario de salida eran las 9:09 minutos pero la luna no no tenía ni rastro de aparecer nos quedamos contemplando riéndonos bastante porque nos empezaron a atacar mosquitos mutantes prácticamente y era muy gracioso porque en un momento de paz total mientras esperábamos la luna está un poco resignadas que no la veríamos estaban los mosquitos atacándonos nos estábamos cayendo por las rocas nosotras nos habíamos instalado detrás de la torre de sal Rosa y en un momento en el cielo se empezó a dibujar una esfera esfera rosada color salmón se empezó a dibujar de manera muy suave muy lenta y nosotras nos quedamos en silencio con los mosquitos con las piedras no pudimos emitir sonido más que contemplar.

I took the photos as I could with the quality that my phone allowed me, which being an iPhone 16, Pro also cannot show what I saw that day while I was in front of the moon.

No podíamos hacer nada. La luna estaba lenta, sutilmente imponiéndose con mucho amor, con mucho silencio y poco a poco se empezaba hacer rosada y hasta anaranjada.

Estas fotos no pueden ni cerca, representar ni mostrar lo que vi aquel día… una luna que se reflejaba en el mar cada vez con más intensidad, a medida que iba ascendiendo.

Saqué las fotos como pude con la calidad que me permitió el teléfono, que siendo un iPhone 16, Pro tampoco puede mostrar lo que vi aquel día mientras estaba frente a la luna.

I was very grateful to be able to enjoy that phenomenon from where I now consider my home, Ibiza, a house not with walls as we know houses (because I don't have them either). I only have a room shared with a co-worker.

But Ibiza is the island that this summer and the summer before has welcomed me and embraced me. It has truly given me a home in all its nature and I give thanks every day for being able to be here. Once again it is one of the few places I have returned to and if I have returned it is for a reason.

Agradecí muchísimo poder estar disfrutando aquel fenómeno desde donde hoy considero mi hogar, Ibiza una casa no con paredes como conocemos a las casas (porque tampoco las tengo). Solo tengo un cuarto compartido con una compañera de trabajo.

Pero es Ibiza la isla que este verano y el verano anterior me ha acogido y me ha abrazado. Me ha brindado realmente un hogar en toda su naturaleza y doy gracias cada día por poder estar aquí. Una vez más es uno de los pocos lugares a los que regresado y si he regresado es por algo.

Fue una de las caminatas más bonitas de inauguración en la zona sur de Ibiza, porque recordemos que yo llegué este verano a Cala Tarida en donde yo Misma y en soledad conmigo, hice mis propias caminatas reflexivas, en donde me encontré con la naturaleza, con la isla y conmigo.

Sin embargo, les dejo esta una caminata compartida una caminata enriquecedora que espero que hayan disfrutado tanto como yo.
