Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to appreciate the blooming of the flowers for a little bit longer!

Flowery Wednesday Walk
With spring in full bloom and things going wild everywhere, although it does bother some people and their allergies, that's not me! I feel bad for Jay that's for sure LOL but I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't have allergies at least not yet. Hopefully they don't develop!
With the spring blooming, that provides lots of different opportunities to get some cool pictures to not only show my wife but to post here on Hive!
The little man and I were on one of our walks when we came upon this persons house. We walk by it very often and I'm always impressed at how organized and clean the house and landscape is. They do a great job of organizing the flower beds and different areas of their yard. I wonder if they are retired lol I would love to do something like this but I don't know where I would fit in the time for it! :D I would manage though, because I think these things are great to do and are a little bit of fun to have in our otherwise challenging world at the moment.
Where their house is, it falls pretty well in line with the sunset! It's really a nice little spot to have a flower bed particularly when you're sitting out there in the evening. I've actually never seen the people that live in this house which is funny, as we've seen most of the neighbors that are out and about. They are elusive it seems!
The other thing I love and didn't really pay much attention to it as a kid and in my younger years are the trees! There are a lot of beautiful trees blooming all around us. I guess I've never really noticed them before but now that I'm noticing them, I've been loving it! The trees are all kinds of different ones, some I have no idea what they are such as the flower and tree below. The blooms look beautiful but I didn't have a chance to take a picture with my plant identification app when I saw it. Sadly the flowers are now gone but that's okay.
Seeing the blooms on the trees is great, a lot of the time we associate blooms and flowers with ground plants like tulips and other things. Seeing them sprouting up everywhere is cool!
This one here is one that I'm familiar with but only because now that I know what it is, I've seen quite a few variations of it around! This is a crab apple tree, which as a kid was a tree that we had in one part of our neighborhood but we didn't see it much early in the year to notice it would flower. When I started to see and appreciate these trees, I realized that they were everywhere! I was surprised about that because I knew we had them around but not in the quantity that we actually have. Driving down the roads and highways, I know see everywhere that we have these bright and wonderful white flowers or slight pinkish, that it's often from a crab apple!
This has been a cool thing, because the little man is able to recognize them and he makes comments now when we're driving that the tree he's seeing here or there looks like a crab apple. I think that's good because we need to be better appreciative and knowledgeable of the plants and things around us. This is good knowledge for a few things besides just appreciating the beauty of it all but foraging for wild edibles is an important one that comes to mind! Some of these trees and shrubs we can take things off them to eat while others it's important to steer clear from it!
