First and foremost, I'd like to thank everyone who has always supported and taught me how to be a better member of the Hive community. I've discovered that I've learned a lot of meaningful and useful things since joining this wonderful community, and it's not just writing in English. This is my third post on the lovely Wednesday Walk, and I will continue to share my experiences on it every week.
Today I'll show you a beautiful running path in Phong Nha, Quang Binh, where you can jog early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Because of the benefits, I frequently choose to run in the early morning, and, in fact, I only have time to run in the morning before work.
Due to the end of the year, this could be a very busy time for many people; we have to finish all kinds of work before the year ends, and I am no exception. I just spent two rare hours exercising to improve my health. I used to get up around 7 a.m. and be ready to go to work. But, at the beginning of this month, I decided to change my mind and act right away. It was difficult for me to wake up at 6 a.m., but I had to force myself to fight sleep and a warm blanket. I awoke gradually at 6 a.m., with no need for an alarm. The path I chose was only 6 kilometres long, but the view is definitely well worth it. I began warming up my body before running to ensure that both my mental and physical faculties were prepared. Of course, I'll listen to my favourite music while running to improve my mood.
I run up The Victory Road 20, the road I used to go to work by motorbike, which is part of the Ho Chi Minh Highway, from Phong Nha's downtown. The road is especially beautiful in the morning because it runs alongside a beautiful river.
It took me 30 minutes,2 km is about to run from Phong Nha town to the Nguyen Van Troi Ferry on the river. Nguyen Van Troi is a great hero during the Vietnam war. To get here, I can either take a boat to the other side of the river or swim about 200 meters. The boat's owner, who I seem to see every day, is a super friendly man, Mr Tham.
Running, rather than riding a motorcycle, give me the opportunity to observe the locals' lives more carefully and slowly. I ran for another 2 kilometres through three villages: Phong Nha, Tram Me, and Chay Lap. Passing over two suspension bridges and looking down to see the spectacular river colour was an unforgettable experience. I occasionally see locals fishing or collecting water mosses in the river.
I frequently leave Phong Nha village at 6:30 a.m., arrive at Chay Lap Farmstay by 7:30 a.m., take a lovely hot shower, enjoy a special breakfast, and be ready to work with full energy.
What are the advantages of running early in the morning?
It is undeniable that running is regarded as the most beneficial form of exercise for the body. When you jog every morning, you will soon realize positive changes in your life, particularly in your health.
Running should be done first thing in the morning to get the most out of it. Not only will you have a healthy body, but you will also develop good habits for yourself. That is, you will go to bed early in the evening and wake up early in the morning, allowing your biological clock to function more scientifically, and your mind will be sharper as a result.
For me, the best part of the morning is finishing a run, showering, having a good breakfast or cup of coffee and then working.
Jogging also will help with increasing metabolism and nutrient circulation to the bones. This increases the suppleness and resistance to force of the muscles and ligaments. Muscle and ligament flexibility contributes to keeping balance well and building a strong spine.
Furthermore, jogging is one of the most effective and safe weight loss goals that you should use if you are overweight. Regular morning jogging in the proper manner will help you burn calories rapidly and easily lose weight.
All pressure in a boring daily routine will be relieved if you run and breathe in fresh air like in Phong Nha. Your spirit will become more relaxed and comfortable. Jogging also helps you get rid of stress and think more positive. When I compare spending a lot of time resting to exercising, I realize that exercising is more effective than resting for hours.
With all of the advantages that jogging has provided me, I intend to continue doing so on a regular basis.
