Hello hive community!
Today we decided to take a short walk to the waterfall called the white stream.
It is located in Breginj - a small village in the Soča valley.
We woke up to a colorful morning. The sky was pink and orange. We drank a cup of coffee, ate something for breakfast and put some water and snacks in our backpacks.
We left the car in the parking lot. We changed into hiking shoes and started our journey. The hike lasts 2 hours. I have to admit that the path was quite steep from the beginning. When we got to the crossroads it became easier.
We walked for about an hour and already reached a smaller waterfall called "Mnanu Paradiž".
Along the way, we listened to the rustle of the wind, birds singing happily on the branches, flowing water, crickets. I love spring. It brings everything to life. I gathered some flowers and continued the path deep into the forest. Since this is an area of waterfalls, you can drink fresh mountain water anywhere along the way.
After two hours we reached our destination. The gorge was rocky, I felt like I was on some other planet. Since the rocks are white, I conclude that this waterfall also got its name because of that. I happily sat down on the grass and admired how the water flowed down the waterfall. It had two pools. The sun was shining, we ate the apples, grateful that we had reached it happily.
After sitting for a while in front of the waterfall, we decided to go back.
I am happy that I went on this hike today and that I can share it with you. I hope you like it.
See you in the next post.
Have a nice Wednesday☀️
