Greetings happy and healthy everyone. Thank you @tattoodjay as the host, this time I will try to share walking activities to the square.
This location is in the Center of Pemalang City, the name of district in Central Java. This square is located at the center of the City, a public space that is used as a City Icon.
As well a place to socialize with the community, as well as a place for sport activities. Like I did walking around this place, this place is rectangular in it there are several shade trees, seats, playgrounds, and there is a statue or Monument in the shape of a Pineaple.
This pineaple monument is a symbol that to Pemalang area has potential as one of the pineaple farming is superior, in addition to other types of plants. Pineaple is quite famous, even this fruit is sent outside this City.
This fruit tastes sweet and fresh, the location of the pineaple plant it in the south of the City of Pemalang. The concept of the square in the land of Java was fruit designed as a community gathering place, and the square adjacent to a place of worship, a prison and a place of Government.
The tree in this place is quite old, grass growns in this yard as a water catchment and alsi for environmental roads using paving block. The place of the square, it positionbis symetrical with the Pendopo building, which is in the south with an imaginary line towards the sea.
There is an information board located on the corner of the street close to the square with a map of the area. This information is a Regional spatial plan as information for the community.
Regional district spatial planing by including spatial use as a guide for development. With this information board the public can find out the plan to use space for investment, one which is.
Usually Cities in Java are formed with a grid system, and is the middle, of the city a field is made as a divider for road directions from various directions, either the direction of the residential road or the direction of the road from outside the City that will path through this field,as well as a public space.
Seen close to the square, there is a statue holding a pointed bamboo, the statue is symbol that in the post the people had fought with the invaders, to depend the home land with a simple weapon, namely using bamboo with a pointed tip, to commemorate the struggle a statue was made.
Not far from this square is located in the West, there is a Mosque in the West, there are is a mosque building wich is quite large with a modern architectural style. This mosque is the pride of the people of Pemalang, just completed.
Thank you very much.
