This post is for the #wednesdaywalk challenge and the #makemesmile challenge collaboration. This collaboration initially took place once a month, but due to its popularity, @tattoodjay (of the #wednesdaywalk) and @elizacheng (of #makemesmile) decided to make it a weekly thing.

On a recent outing we went for a walk in Danville Park. Danville Park is a protected coastal lowland forest and wetland in Durban North, on the east coast of South Africa. A variety of bird species can be seen in this park and there is no shortage in the presence of monkeys.
This particular walk was quite a joyful and fun-filled experience for us. There was a lot of activity as the monkeys were curious and often joined us by following us wherever we were walking...lol.
They often remained in the shadows, but I'll share seven photos that are clear enough to share today.
Let's start with this youngster who was a real little nosy-parker and closely watched every move we made...
There was no hesitation from him to jump from branch to branch to follow us, and when we stopped, he would carefully study us to see what we were up to...lol
A little further on, we came across this male.
He was casually grooming himself...
But as soon as we decided to move on, he didn't hesitate to follow us for quite some time.
I have many more photos, but the monkeys often remained in the shadows and I couldn't get that many photos which are clear enough to share here. At one point, we had a whole troop following us. They were extremely active, constantly moving around and jumping from tree to tree. It was amazing to see the speed at which they where moving through the forest. At times, we couldn't even see them clearly, but you could hear them, making it sound like the forest came alive around us.
