Last Friday, I stopped at a display at the entrance to my Lowe's store. The fellow was promoting a Leaf Filter service promotion, he actually helped me find some things in the store, so I, against my better judgement booked an in person estimate. This was Monday.
The fellow was nice if pushy. I only have FOUR segments of gutters, and his estimate for covering them as was $3,836.00!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought that was exhorbitant, and said I couldn't even think about it until my funds arrived for next month, so we set a date for June 4th.
For this estimate (good for a year) to be made available, they required my routing and account #'s (alarm bells going off)
"You won't take any money before the day of the work, correct?"
Oh no, we won't do that.
But sure enough the very next morning my bank was dinged for that full amount.
I immediately called them, downloaded and signed the documents they required, scanned and sent them back and in less than an hour I had my money back and that merchant was blocked.
Today I got a phone call and TWO emails from them talking about the work had started but payment had been declined.
I replied to both emails and phone calls, barely holding my anger.
That crisis is over.
I received the "Bidet" attachment for my toilet.
I've never used one before, but for the price I was willing to give it a try.
As always seems to be my lot in life, this installation did NOT go quite as the instructions or video said it would.
BUTT, for now I have it installed, and it is spraying as advertised.
Gotta remember to turn it off after use, or else it will spray every time you flush, and you don't always flush when you are sitting on top of it ha ha
Turns out, you don't have to flush to get a spritz.
I've learned a couple of things about this Bidet.
- it is NOT directly dependent on the terlet being flushed: you can sit down and get a cold spritz if you need it.
- (at least in my case) they got the AIM absolutely right on the Bullseye
- I needn't have worried about drying my "man parts" as they were not wet at all.
I have gotten a series of emails and notices from Samsung that "Galaxy AI" was not available on my phone, and would be free until 2025.
I tried several ways, then ended up spending over 20 min on the phone with Samsung.
I DO NOT WANT AI on my devices, I will not USE AI on my devices, and I WILL NOT PAY FOR IT if I don't want it nor use it.
Their response was that it was there are part of the operating system now, no way to block or get rid of it now, but if I don't ever use any part of it, I will not be charged.
SO
Do I understand that there is some elf sitting in my phone waiting for me to accidentally click on something so they can send me more charges?
I've broken down and asked for help moving the last of my stones so I can get on with leveling and sowing the seeds before it's too hot for them to germinate, but also I've created two small flower beds on either side of my back porch
