Before I go on to tell you where we went next after Athens, I will share with you one great place in the city of Bar in Montenegro.
Yesterday I wrote an article about this city that I will probably leave without nostalgia. We spent four days here and are leaving tomorrow.
But I found here a place that brought pleasure to my soul among noisy beaches crowded with people.
I walked today among the majestic fragrant pines that grow here along the entire coastline.
These pine trees remind me a lot of Crimea, where I loved to be more than 10 years ago.
And I enjoyed this fragrance during the heat. And then we walked along the road to a remote beach where there were scenic views and a little less people.
We went down the steep stairs and got into a cozy lagoon surrounded by rocks. The Adriatic Sea here is quite shallow and you have to go quite far to get to the depth. I carefully walked on the stones so as not to injure my feet and already at the depth I enjoyed swimming.
And then I decided to walk to the left, where there was an unknown path. And suddenly, unexpectedly, I discovered a cozy bay hidden from people between crowded beaches, where there was not a single person. Only a few fishermen were engaged in their hobby.
If I didn't leave tomorrow, I would definitely come here, explore the seabed and enjoy being alone with the sea.
The pine trees here were right on the shore. Their branches hung over the sea, creating beautiful pictures of paradise.
It is extremely rare to find pine thickets directly on the seashore. I am extremely happy that I will have good memories of the city of Bar, which I did not like at first. But in every place there is definitely something that I find for my pleasure :)
This is my contribution to the #wednesdaywalk challenge, initiated by @tattoodjay :)
This post is written about where I am now. But I'll be back to telling the story, sequentially describing all the places I changed in my #TheLongestTrip
I thank everyone for your support ❤️
