My soul longed for a quiet pine paradise again after a few active days in the car driving and in the malls of Antalya where my girls were looking for a wardrobe update :) It was an amazing sunny day, not at all like the middle of winter. This Mediterranean climate of Kemeru is truly like paradise! Turkey is so big and multifaceted that you can really migrate from winter to summer! Recently, a friend of mine from Ukraine went to the mountains in another part of this country, where there was snow up to her knees! Well, we haven't seen snow for two years, only on the tops of Takhtala from afar! Because we have been freezing in winter for many years in Ukraine, and my girls don't want snow :) And today I invite you to take a walk with us along the road hidden in the mountains, which leads to the highest observation deck above Kemer.
So, parking our car on the side of the road, we began our ascent. On one side there were rocks, and on the other side there was a steep slope covered with a magical pine forest, where beautiful views of the sea and the same blue mountains that create the cozy Kemer Bay opened up in the ravine.
@darine.darine tried herself as a rock climber :) And at that time I was enjoying the unique pictures of nature. Pine needles here and there were as if painted red. The bark of the trees formed beautiful still lifes in the needles. The tall pines stretched up and against the background of the blue sky created a feeling of paradise!
To the left of the road were rock formations above a precipice, and we stepped onto them for a moment to take beautiful photos against the backdrop of our beloved city of Kemer, which looked surprisingly beautiful against the sea and purple evening clouds.
And they went further, towards the famous rock, where the observation tower is located. My daughters were so small amidst this majesty of natural elements and giant pine trees.
A little red dog jumped out of nowhere and ran happily alongside my girls. @bugavi usually doesn't like the company of dogs because he's afraid of them, but this little one was very friendly :)
The road was magical and gave us new attractive pictures every time of the combination of sunlit rocks and pine trees on the slope. Suddenly I noticed one pine growing in an amazing way: it was horizontal, but it was absolutely alive!
My extreme athlete Daryna immediately wanted to walk along this pine tree above the cliff! But I didn't let her step far, so she only went to the edge and danced :)
The sun has already sunk to the horizon and there is still some time left to enjoy the best moments of the day, when the most beautiful pictures appear in the sky before sunset!
We stopped at a small cozy observation deck with wooden benches. But I walked a little higher to take some photos from the other side of the road, where the colorful clouds over the sea can be seen in the distance!
On my way back, I stopped again at a horizontal pine tree. I imagined myself as a bird over a precipice, sitting on this unusual unique tree that grows horizontally among vertical pines. It was really a very pleasant feeling of flying!
It was a truly heavenly walk, when a person can enjoy the beauty of a unique natural environment, fascinated by the amazing discoveries of magical pictures that the Universe draws for its beloved children :)
Thanks for the great initiative #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay :)
It will soon be two years since we left our native Ukraine. This post is written about where we are now. But I will return to the story of my trip, sequentially describing all the places that I changed in my #TheLongestTrip.
