On Wednesday, I'm usually doing my Hump Day Easy Talk series, which are short video blogs that I record during my daily walk... But today, as you can see from the first photo, the weather wasn't on my side... It was cloudy, cold, and windy... I can survive the first two, but recording videos outside with the wind, isn't the best idea... It's painful to record it, and it's hard for others to listen to all that background noise...
Why this title? While I was walking, I got inspired by women talking on the street saying something like: "Ahora, con el verano..." That translated to English would be, Now, that summer is here... which wouldn't be weird to hear, but not in February! 😀 But, in their defense, when the sun is shining, sometimes it gets hot even in the winter...
So, instead of doing that, I have decided to create my first post in the #WednesdayWalk community! I was doing regularly Actifit reports in a similar format, sharing my daily story and photos from my walk... Why not do mix things up and do it here for a change? I hope you will like it...
When I do my daily walks I have 2-3 available options... One is to go by sea until the nearest town and back, the other one is to go through orange gardens, the third is to dive into the small forest that we have on tip of our toes, etc... This time, the route was mixed up...
I have begun the walk by the sea, and later on, detour into the "inland"...
I didn't pay attention earlier, but somehow it looks like the sea is "saltier" in my town, than on the other beach in another city... After bathing on the beach near my home, my skin would always be itchy and full of salt... After taking this photo, it's clear that it is very salty here as rocks are almost all covered in salt...

The problem with walking by the sea in winter is that almost all day it's windy, so it was time to go a bit "inland"... There was a short part where I had to walk on the roadside and that's where I did the next photo... I don't know how roundabouts look in your place, but here in Spain, they are always full of plants, flowers, or palm trees as on this one...
These beautiful yellow flowers were looking on the road over one of the fences...
I don't know why I like to take photos of tree branches in the winter, but there is something mystic in them...
The "internal" name of this route is "Ermita route" as for this small church in the middle of nowhere... :) It is called Ermita de Sant Isidre and it's build in 1999 and it's situated close to the rest of the old Roman aquaduct from III century... (I didn't take the photo this time)

One of the most beautiful things at this time of the year is definitely almond tree blooming! I didn't get the right angle for the first photo, but luckily, I have found another one and did close-up images of the flowers... Imagine the whole field of almond trees and that spectacular view...
<-------------------------------->
The thing that you don't have to imagine is this awesome lemon plantation! The sun was at its peak, so it's not that perfect, but still... Seeing that in life is spectacular...
Along with lemons, it's an orange season and they are everywhere...
<-------------------------------->
It's not a secret that I like to take photos of flowers and the next photo is the flower that is ALWAYS in bloom... I have no idea how is that possible, but I saw this flower (Bougainvillea) in all 4 seasons... lol... People are planting it over their fence or gates and it looks like you are going to heaven when you enter the yard... :)
I had a theory about this yellow "trumpet" flower (Angel's-trumpet - Brugmansia suaveolens) that it's impossible to take a photo of it... Probably because of its light yellow color and not that "straight" lines, my phone couldn't focus it... almost never...
...until this moment... But, it's not perfect yet, but much better :)
<-------------------------------->
On my way back home, somewhere in-between the gardens I have bumped up on these ladies... :) Someone forgot the door open and they went out for a walk... Watch out, chicks are on the streets... 😄 They are filming the Saturday Night Fever... 😂
Wait for me guys... Run Forest, run!
Who says that walks are boring... Every single time when I go out for a walk, I find something interesting to photo that leads to an awesome story...
Thank you for your valuable time,
ph
