Today I thought I would see what people are doing in the markets amidst the increasing threat of the coronavirus and its new variant. I put on a proper mask and proceeded towards the market of the town. I saw people were violating the rules even after the danger of disease.
And what I saw was not encouraging, but scared me. Apart from the city, the villagers are also not afraid of the coronavirus disease as they are out in the market despite the strict government advisory. This is the reason that instead of following the relaxation in lockdown, people are violating the rules. In particular, the distance of two yards is not being followed in the market at all.
Masks have also disappeared from the faces of many people. The situation in the vegetable market and the market overall has worsened the most. There is a vast crowd of customers in grocery shops and vegetable markets. Because neither the traders nor the public are following the rules, the situation is only getting worse. I hope the authorities will take stern action against people not following the Corona protocol.
I kept moving forward and saw that people absolutely not worried about corona or its protocol. If it continues like this, then I understand that now there is a night curfew, but soon the day’s lockdown will also happen.
This is a matter of great concern for an unemployed person like me. I feel that if this goes on and they impose the day lockdown, then all my outings for job searching and shopping will stop.
I took these snaps today for this post
