We experienced almost winter weather here at our place and we are complaining about it a lot. Even in the afternoon, the wind blowing here feels like we are in an air-conditioned room with a block of ice inside. It has been like that for more than a month, and one of the major problems I've faced during that time is drying our laundry.

Then, when February entered, that's when the hell started, and we are still complaining, lol. I am just wondering, if the weather is a person, what do you think he is thinking right now? Because I can imagine his face right now making faces like he's about to burst with anger toward me, lol. But kidding aside, today is too hot. It's making my head hurt.
My oldies have to attend somewhere this morning, and when we go to our destination, the sun is like in rage; the heat is too itchy to the skin. This is the reason why I don't like to go outside in this kind of weather. And, to a lazy person like me who would never bring an umbrella, I have no choice but to bring one or else I will end up like a fried Ruffa, lol.
But anyhow, let me share how we started our day and how it went while the oldies were attending to something. We started it with a walk early in the morning. This time, Mommy F already took a bath because we have to go out exactly at 8 a.m. We passed by the terminal and saw these little buses with hearts on the back of them.
Sheesh, they are excited to celebrate Independence Day. Like duhhhh. It's not that exciting! Agree? Lol.
And here's my motherbels. She asked me to take a photo of her. She loves to take selfies, and I am her certified photographer, always, lol. Happy yarn? Hihi. And by the way, she felt happier when she learned that her sugar level was just normal; I think it was 103. I even tease her that we should eat ice cream or chocolate later.
After checking her sugar level at a nearby pharmacy, I took this on our way home. I think it will pass as a haunted house. What do you think? And by the way, the road on the right side is the shortcut to get to our old school, from elementary to college, which I mentioned before. This is the path I took, but only if my enemy was not there. Lol.
And what's that enemy? The turkeys, lol. Or Pabo, as we call it here in the Philippines. They are my mortal enemies because they love to run after me. I just want to get home without taking the long path, but they are always on my way. Bad Turks! I hate them, but I hate their owner the most. I mean, why let their pet go outside and run after us?
It's an annoying experience, but looking back on it now, I just can't help but laugh. I can still remember how my heart beat faster whenever they were in sight. They will really run after you while their wings are widely open, like a man ready to use their arm to whomever walks by.
But anyway, enough with walking down memory lane. Let me share what happened next after this. Or let me share these photos while I am waiting patiently for the oldies to finish their business.

Can you feel the heat just by looking at these photos? Riding the tricycle is not enough because you will still get caught in the heat. It is a good thing it is a little windy, so we were saved by it. I am taking these pictures while hiding my face from the sunlight, lol.
And we are so early at the venue that when we arrive, there is not a single person in the venue. But we waited for a minute. Then Mother saw someone she knew, so she asked him. And she just found out that this is actually not the venue for the meeting.
So we have to look for a tricycle again and go to the barangay hall, which is the real place for this meeting. We're about to get into a tricycle, but then we had to stop because of the flag ceremony. It's just for a few minutes, so it's okay. As you can see, the Philippine flag is still not up in this photo.
This is where the meeting for the senior citizens takes place. I mean in that white building before this covered court. The oldies just have to fill up some forms, so I decided to go outside to look around. I will only get bored inside, that is why.

Here's what I took while waiting for them. Although it is really hot outside, I still chose to stay outside because of the crowd. I can't really take it because I feel like I am being watched by a bunch of people, even though they are really not. I dunno, just a feeling.

And look, wherever I look, the sun is really shining so hard. The feeling outside while waiting is like I am being deep fried in super hot boiled oil, lol. Ahhh, how I wish the weather was just like January—cold and so good. It only goes bad when it's time to do the laundry, lol.
I really hate to go out but, I had to. Mother's command, lol. ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
