For today's blog, I want to share another amazing walk and exploration I had with my Aunt and friends at Daanbantayan Cebu. Recently, we went to Daanbantayan to attend the Division Festival of Talents, while staying in the area, my Aunt (who is also a teacher) discover how beautiful the beaches are in the place.
Daanbantayan is a good place to stay and relax for a lot of wonderful and affordable beaches you can go and visit here.
On the last day of the event, while it's home-sweet-home already, she insisted to call my friends and stay for a while at this marvelous A&E beach resort.
Together with her friend, and my friends, we explore and take a walk out on the beach for a while.
The Entrance
You will see how beautiful their entrance gate is as you enter the place. It was filled with green plants that made the place attractive to look at.
There is a wide space in front of the rooms where you can stay and chit-chat in this unique mini-log with tables and chairs allocated for the visitors.
We opted to share a room and stay until the morning, glad rooms are still available because fewer people are visiting this great place.
Affordable and Classy Rooms
The moment you enter the room, the ambiance is really good. Feels like it's home!
We get one standard room and we will just pay for an extra bed for the excess person.
What I love about the room is its classy furniture. The bedding and cabinets inside the room are made out of wood. You also have one mini dining place and a small living room at the back of their wood furniture.
Another thing that made us feel extra special is their classy wall paintings and curtains that jive with the color of the furniture. It's not that painful to the eyes of the visitors.
With the dim lights they had, for sure visitors will be glad to sleep in the area. Then we discover that one of the lights in the area seems like it's a Bluetooth speaker because while turning it on, it will make a sound. Great! It's a Bluetooth speaker, so no need to bring an extra speaker for you to get to the music and relax. You can make a sound and feel the beat of the music.
This is awesome! For only Php1500.00 or 26.80 USD and Php100.00 or 1.79 USD for an extra bed per person, it's a very affordable and comfy space you can occupy.
Family rooms are also available in the area for Php2500.00 or 44.67 USD only. And for the exclusive use of the place, you need to pay Php15000.00 or 268.04 USD for 2 standard rooms and 2 family rooms.
If you are just staying for day use, you can just rent their cottages for Php600.00 or 10.72 USD good for 10 persons.
Another thing that I love about the place is the mini balcony outside the room where you can chit-chat with friends they also place tables and chairs for those who will occupy it or drink your morning coffee outside enjoying the view with your sweetie. So sweet of them to think of this idea!
What my aunt and her friend did first thing in the morning is to check the roof deck outside where you can see the beauty of the beach. It's so lovely seeing this peaceful place until you can see the sun shining brightly above. Seeing this morning view will make my day extra special.
The Serenity that the place offers
In the afternoon, you can see the sparkling blue water above the rooftop. You can also see that the place has fine white sand. You can freely walk and tour around the place as long as you want.
When the water is not that high anymore, I got the chance to take a walk in this tranquil place. The people are having their boats to sail and get some fish for a living. Some are looking for great finds like seashells and sea urchins in the sand.
According to Leland Melvin, “To walk on the beach was the most incredible thing. When you look at the horizon it helps regauge your gyros and your inner ear. It helps you know exactly what’s up and down and what’s right and left.” Despite the busy schedule I had with work, taking a walk like this on the sand finds me at peace and provides my self-healing.
Talking to the waves feels like you are talking to someone willing to hear everything that your heart utmost desire.
I'm glad my aunt let me stay in this classy but affordable place. I had a wonderful stay.
