Hello friends of #Wednesdaywalk. Here I am with you as every week to share with you my walk, thanks to this great space created by our friend @tattoodjay. This routine has already become a very special moment for me, a moment where I can pause, reflect and tell you a little bit of my day to day.
As usual, I got up very early to start my journey to the Unik Hotel. The weather was excellent from the early hours, the sky was clear and the sun illuminated the urban and natural landscapes in a beautiful way. Every corner seemed to come alive with such a serene atmosphere. I love to start my days like this, with a clear mind.
Hola amigos de #Wednesdaywalk. Acá estoy con ustedes como cada semana para compartirles mi recorrido, gracias a este genial espacio creado por nuestro amigo @tattoodjay. Esta rutina ya se ha convertido en un momento muy especial para mí, un momento donde puedo hacer una pausa, reflexionar y contarles un pedacito de mi día a día.
Como es costumbre, me levanté bien temprano para iniciar mi recorrido hacia el hotel Unik. El clima era excelente desde las primeras horas, el cielo despejado y el sol iluminando los paisajes urbanos y naturales de una manera hermosa. Cada rincón parecía cobrar vida con esa atmósfera tan serena. Me encanta empezar así mis jornadas, con la mente clara.
Upon arrival at the hotel, everything flowed normally. I performed my routine check and measured the chlorine in the main tank, making sure that everything was at the right levels. It is a task that I do with commitment, knowing that it contributes to the well-being of those who stay there. At the end of my tasks, I handed over the corresponding invoice and said goodbye with a smile. Another day successfully completed.
Al llegar al hotel, todo fluyó con normalidad. Realicé mi chequeo de rutina y la medición de cloro en el tanque principal, asegurándome de que todo estuviera en los niveles adecuados. Es una labor que hago con compromiso, sabiendo que contribuye al bienestar de quienes allí se hospedan. Al terminar mis tareas, entregué la factura correspondiente y me despedí con una sonrisa. Otro día cumplido con éxito.
With my responsibility for the day out of the way, I headed to my father's house, who was already waiting for me with my husband. We had agreed to take him into town to do some shopping, a little adventure we always enjoy. When we arrived, he wanted to stop by our house first to pick up an insole for my son's shoes, as he had in mind to give him some new sneakers. I thought it was a very nice gesture on his part.
Upon entering the house, my pets, Frida and Coqui, became very happy. My father has a very special relationship with them: he spoils them a lot and they return the affection. Sometimes they climb on him or dirty his clothes, but that doesn't bother him at all; on the contrary, he enjoys pampering them and receiving their affection.
Con mi responsabilidad del día fuera del camino, me dirigí a casa de mi padre, quien ya me esperaba junto a mi esposo. Habíamos acordado llevarlo a la ciudad para realizar algunas compras, una pequeña aventura que siempre disfrutamos. Al llegar, él quiso pasar primero por nuestra casa para buscar una plantilla de zapatos de mi hijo, ya que tenía en mente regalarle unos deportivos nuevos. Me pareció un gesto muy bonito de su parte.
Al entrar en la casa, mis mascotas Frida y Coqui, se pusieron muy alegres. Mi padre tiene una relación muy especial con ellas: las consiente mucho y ellas le retribuyen con muestras de cariño. A veces se le trepan o le ensucian la ropa, pero eso no le molesta en absoluto; por el contrario, disfruta mimarlas y recibir su afecto.
We continued on our way to the city, while my father admired the scenery with eyes full of enthusiasm. He looked happy, enjoying every moment. We parked near the stores and began to walk between stores, exploring options without haste. He entered a shoe store where he was immediately charmed by the models. There he decided to buy not only shoes for himself, but also for my son.
Continuamos nuestro camino hacia la ciudad, mientras mi padre admiraba el paisaje con ojos llenos de entusiasmo. Se notaba feliz, disfrutando de cada momento. Aparcamos cerca de las tiendas y comenzamos a caminar entre tiendas, explorando opciones sin prisa. Entró en una zapatería donde los modelos lo encantaron de inmediato. Allí decidió comprar no solo los zapatos para él, sino también los de mi hijo.
Then we continued touring some stores looking for white interiors, just as he wanted them. It was there when we came across another shoe store called “El Emperador”, located on Marcano Avenue and Cedeño Street, in the city of Porlamar, Nueva Esparta State, Margarita Island. My father saw a pair that he liked for me, and without thinking twice he asked for my number. He gave them to me and said they were for me. It was a very pleasant surprise, as he says that if he asked me he would not accept them, and he was probably right. I always put other people's priorities above my own.
I left the store with the shoes on, just as he did, both of us happily breaking in.
Luego seguimos recorriendo algunas tiendas buscando interiores blancos, tal como él los quería. Fue allí cuando nos topamos con otra tienda de zapatos llamada “El Emperador”, ubicada en avenida Marcano y Calle Cedeño, en la ciudad de Porlamar, Estado Nueva Esparta, Isla de Margarita. Mi padre vio un par que le gustó para mí, y sin pensarlo dos veces pidió mi número. Me los entregó y dijo que eran para mí. Fue una sorpresa muy grata, pues dice que si me preguntaba no los aceptaría, y probablemente tenía razón. Siempre pongo las prioridades de los demás por encima de las mías.
Me marché de la tienda con los zapatos puestos, igual que él, ambos estrenando con alegría.
Since it was already close to three in the afternoon and we had not had lunch, we decided to go to the Rio market, a place my father loves for the variety and freshness of the food. We ordered salad and meatballs that were really spectacular, a delight that left us satisfied and happy.
Como ya eran cerca de las tres de la tarde y no habíamos almorzado, decidimos ir al mercado Río, un lugar que a mi padre le encanta por la variedad y frescura de la comida. Pedimos ensalada y albóndigas que estaban realmente espectaculares, una delicia que nos dejó satisfechos y felices.
After sharing the after-dinner conversation with laughter and laughter, we returned home with our purchases. My father was happy, and so were we, because this tour filled us with good moments and made us very happy.
