Hi, dear Hive community!
It's Wednesday again, and we're happy to get out in the fresh air and catch some rays. This time, we walked along a path that goes a little through the meadow and a little through the woods.
Along the way, we admired the wheat that is almost ripe and waiting to be harvested. The grass was swinging in the wind and bathing in the sunlight.
On the way, we met another cat friend, who is just like the cat Tamara has at home. The only difference is that this one looks grown up, while ours looks like a child, despite being at least 5 years old. The cat allowed us to pet and cuddle her. We didn't have to call twice, he came quickly running down the road. We will definitely go and visit him again as she obviously wanted some love and attention.
In the forest, the sun hardly reached us, because of the green bushy leaves up high. Many of the trees are big, mighty oaks. We have not seen such large and old trees in Slovenia. They can make quite a strong shade, which is pleasant on warm summer days.
Along the way, we also spotted at least 3 smaller, beautiful red cherry trees. Unfortunately, we assume that two of the trees were wild cherry trees, as the fruit was intact, and the cherries were much smaller than the ones we know. Fortune smiled on us, and we found one tree where we could have had a snack, but unfortunately we could not reach it. Nevertheless, we couldn't help stopping at the nearby market and buying two handfuls of them.
Wish you a lovely day!
