Last Sunday, while waiting for my friends at the front of the mall and church, I saw a lot of street vendors offering their products outside the compound of Antipolo Parish. Every Sunday, plenty of visitors from other municipalities go to the Antipolo Parish to attend a Sunday mass. Some of the street vendors take the opportunity to sell their products to the people. After a mass, a lot of people were walking outside of the parish, and I saw some of the vendors walking towards the people and offering their products.
The Vendors of Jasmine or Sampaguita
While sitting on a concrete bench, two of the ladies vendors of sampaguita were sitting beside me while holding their sampaguitas. I noticed there's still a lot of sampaguitas held by the lady vendor sitting beside me, which means she hadn't sold plenty of her sampaguitas. Maybe the reason why she sat it because she was a little bit tired, or she just sat down and was waiting for the customers who wanted to buy a sampaguita.
The smell of the sampaguita or jasmine is really good. Most of the people who buy a sampaguita use them to wear or hang around their santo, or small Catholic statue or figurine.
The Balloon Vendors
Those vendors of colorful balloons just stand there and wait for the customers. Most of their target is children who love balloons. Those balloons are not just classic balloon-shaped like an egg. Those balloons are cartoon characters like Spongebob, Hello Kitty, and more.
The Parish and Visitors
As you can see, plenty of visitors come and go from the church. Every Sunday, the inside and outside of the church are full of visitors who want to attend mass. From morning to night, a lot of visitors from other municipalities, cities, and local visitors came to attend a Sunday mass.
