Between a thousand of alleys in Sai Gon – a metropolis and the most modern city in the South East of Viet Nam, people are quite easy to find out a lot of interesting places and entertainment ways which tend to come in for such as bar, pub, etc.. In the opposite, to look forward some places where you can put all your heart and mind to the peace is not as easy as we expected.

I have spent a few more weeks to wander and visit in each every district with only one purpose of having my own space with nature and myself. Currently, it has become my intimate place just like home. And the one I am mentionin about is the tea house owned and hosted by a successful woman.

Located in the small alley in Binh Thanh district, An Yen teahouse is enveloped by the subtle shades of pink of Bauhinia variegata trees. This is the easiest sign to remark and recognize the teahouse. The teahouse opening hours are from 8 a.m to 8 p.m and I am always the first one who arrives the ealiest in the day time.

The setting of teahouse is extremely simple but sublte. It is not a quite large space but enough for some group of people who would love to enjoy a cup of great tea or listen the silent of nature or themselves. I often stay in the outside of the house to make tea and drink in each sip. In each every time I arrive here, I always take another friend with me. They love to drink tea and I love to make a cup of tea for them.

If you just only have 1$ or you have nothing in your pocket, you also can free to have great time to drink tea since the owner does not run this place for the business purpose. All people come here can contribute in accordance with their generosity. And this is the enjoyable part and different from the others that attract me arriving permanently.
Beside, there are many kinds of tea that you can try or taste the scent to find out which one is suitable for you. Instea, you also can bring your own tea and apparatus to make your tea, the teahouse will supply the hot water freely to you.
