Today, I honestly didn't feel like leaving the house much. The day was a bit cloudy and a bit chilly, a perfect opportunity to stay home, either watching a series or a movie. However, I had to go out and buy some things. So, I also took the opportunity to take some photos along the path I was following, which is basically near where I live, in a neighborhood called Villa Asia and Los Olivos, places that are mostly residential. As I walked, I thought that these same streets haven't changed at all from what they were like more than 15 years ago. It's as if time has stopped, but even many of these places have deteriorated even further with the passage of time.

This time, I didn't want to bring my camera with me, since I had to carry something heavy on the way home. So, for the most practical purposes, I used my cell phone to take some of the shots I'm posting. It's a bit of what I saw on this short tour around the building where I live, and it was only a small part of it. It's a vast expanse of houses and buildings, and the paths and the view of those homes almost seem endless. But anyway, I just wanted to visit certain places I hadn't been to in a while.

Beyond showing this aspect of what these places are like, it's also about capturing images that caught my attention, like, say, some cats I found on the street. Well, usually I always find cats, and I'd like to take them all home, but I already have too many, and my apartment is small. But I always take advantage of taking photos of the cats, and when I can, I feed them if I have one. There are also other scenes, like two people talking, but also two old Volkswagen Beetles, which, by the way, I hadn't seen on the street for a long time, but some are still around like relics of the past.

Well, anyway, these are some of the images I found for this Wednesday. I took a short walk, but I always wanted to take photos. Because there will always be reasons to take photos, whether you think everything is very quiet or you think there's nothing there anymore, or it's just more of the same. Even if you walk down that same street a thousand times, there will always be different scenes, be it a person, an animal, or something else that make for a perfect frame for the photos.

All photographs are my own.
