Hello fellow Pilots!
In response to the challenge hosted by our distinguished Captain @digital-wisdom, please allow me to offer my variant of a Grabber deck for his Federal Database Challenge:
The Deck:
The Idea:
This Criminal Deck is all based on synergies between the different cards, focusing on Speed, Combat and Stealth, among other things.
The Repentant Pirate gives us access to the Criminal Origin (As well as Captain Cranium) and bolsters out effectiveness by having a +1 Criminal Synergy, along with Violence, which will be key for this build.
His Ship: Fast, Armored, equipped with enough guns to make an impact and enough speed for hit-and-run tactics. Admiral Valro will pilot it to glory with his superior skillset.
The Crew: 2 Squad leaders, to keep the grunts focused, a security and a comms officer for finding the enemy and hiding from the enemy. Also for defending against the enemy.
2 Syndicate Troopers, to be stealthy and shooty when taking down the enemy Keeper. Helped by Cap. Cranium and Scarlet Sarah, these folks have a good chance to take the enemy down before they know what hit them.
In case the enemy has dug in with automated defences, Sh4rken will make sure they never leave their autonomous base alive.
Tactic and strategy:
Find the Keeper as soon as possible, do a quick recon, then determine if a Stealthy or a Hacker-y approach is viable. Go in, slaughter each and every one of them, grab the prize.
Aftermath: Depending on the tactical and logistical advantage of the enemy base, either occupy and fortify it, or salvage whatever materials and items are available, as quickly as humanly possible, and get back to safety quickly.
Once a secure spot has been identified, fortify with an Underground Defensive bunker, complete with it's own food, water and power supplies. Deploy the turrets in a defensive parameter, set up the Radio Array and treat the wounded in the Medical Bay. The Tech Experts will keep things going smoothly until needed.
Needless to say, everyone part of the assault will have an Arena Powersuit equipped, rocking an Explanator and a Good Morning sidearm, both loaded with Party ammo. For the rest of the crew, it's a Good Morning sidearm and a Military suit Class A, just to keep them safe.
Hope that straight-forward attack strategy hasn't bored you, I will be attempting a more defensive style of a Keeper deck for the same challenge shortly.
Best of luck to all!
