I have been dedicated to #hive education for some time now, so I am always learning, and updating my knowledge about the ecosystem day by day, and this has made me read a lot, and among those readings I have found some posts from some users, very few by the way because there are really few who dare to touch these topics in #hive, these writings have made me think and question some terms that are commonly used and now make me think.
I was struck by the fact that some users wonder why users drop out of the ecosystem, why do users drop out after a few posts, and I wondered, do they really not know, or are they just playing dumb? I in these days during the talks we have given, (We have already made more than 30) I have taken the opportunity to ask those users that I know, and that many of them started with me three years ago in the blockchain and that I know, have abandoned their accounts, why have they stopped publishing? and in 100% of the answers they told me that because they were not taken into account.
I do know, they are going to tell me that these users were sold the #hive ecosystem as a way to make money, and maybe it was, to many of us it was presented as an opportunity to make money and as they stopped receiving cures they left, but I have news for you, not everyone who is into blockchain does it to make money, even though most of those who advertise hive mention the fact that one of the advantages of the ecosystem is that they can monetize their content, but aha, let's leave that aside, I'll pretend I've never read that in any post.
Analyzing the situation and speaking from my perspective as a frequent user, I can assure you that many times new users are let go, they do not leave alone, and this happens because they are not valued, because it is not about getting paid for their content, if that were the case I would have retired a long time ago, and if you don't believe me, go to my blog and check, it's not about users getting paid or not, what it's really about is to let these users know, especially the new ones that their content is important within the #hive ecosystem, what does it cost to leave a nice comment, something that encourages you to move forward? something that helps you improve, how nice it would be if this happened.
But quite on the contrary, when new users make their posts, most of them are ignored by many of those who today are consolidated within the ecosystem, and I know they can't look at them and comment on every post, but with something as simple as leaving a comment, today on one, tomorrow on another, it would make a difference, since there are many who are well positioned, because we would be giving the importance that has someone to dedicate one, two or even more hours of his life to our blockchain.
I can bet you anything you want that more than one will make fun of what I am telling you here, but put yourself for a moment in the shoes of those people who are just starting their journey into the blockchain, take three hours making a post, then publish, and time passes and they do not receive a single vote, not a single comment, the next day the same, zero comments, zero votes, you know what message we are sending them, We are telling them that they don't belong here, and if you are treated badly on a site you would go back there.
Now, I asked myself, we talk about how we are all partners in this ecosystem, but do we really treat everyone as partners? we talk about the scenario is to transcend the #web2 and reach massification, but when someone works for this is also ignored, we talk about that here there is no censorship, but the moment you dare to tell the truths that everyone knows (but do not say for fear), at that moment they start to attack you, or vote you negative, or simply submerge you in the darkness of the system, as probably happens with this post.
I understand that in #hive there are no hierarchies, but there are some individualities that believe they are the only ones with the right to build, with the right to dream, individualities that do not correct someone if he makes a mistake, but if they attack him, they do not encourage when someone wants to emerge, rather they put obstacles in his way, they are not able to get out of the bubble that they themselves have created with small groups and close friends, and anyone who is not part of that group is ignored, and even demonized, they wonder why users leave, but when they see a post from someone new (other than presentation) no one encourages him not to be discouraged, they see him as an enemy, because maybe public in other communities.
What are we really talking about in #hive, is it a crime to post in some communities, lately some actors have made this ecosystem a very unwelcoming place for some, they fill their mouths saying they build and what they do is destroy, I think in #hive is coming the time to do, rather than say.
My grandmother used to say that paper holds everything, what do I mean by this? simple, that in a post I can say that I am an aerospace engineer, and that I have been to the moon and the planet mars, but in reality I am nothing more than a simple housewife, and there is nothing wrong with being a housewife, (in fact I am one), that is in my public content I am the teacher of teachers, but I am unable to reach out to someone who is taking his first steps.
From the moment I started helping new users I have been able to observe indifference, for these people, in my personal case, I always tell them that this ecosystem should be seen as a tool that allows them to grow and develop as integral beings, it would be hypocritical of me to tell them that it is for reward and that when they see my wall they tell me that it is a lie, I tell them that #hive is the builder of dreams, that I found in it that piece that was missing in my life.
Certainly hive is the best way to transcend that proprietary #web2, but let's be able to open our eyes to this latent reality, not everything that glitters is gold, and in hive not everything is written, this is just being born, but if we want it to be born triumphant, we cannot turn our eyes and be indifferent, we need to give value to those who believe in the ecosystem.
Question: Would you stay where you are not valued?
Llevo ya algún tiempo dedicada a educar en materia de #hive, por lo que siempre estoy en constante aprendizaje, y actualizando mis conocimientos sobre el ecosistema día a día, y esto me ha hecho leer bastante, y entre esas lecturas que se consiguen he encontrado algunos post de algunos usuarios, muy contados por cierto, ya que realmente son pocos los que se atreven a tocar estos temas en #hive, estos escritos me han hecho pensar y cuestionar algunos términos que son utilizados comúnmente y los que ahora me ponen a pensar.
Me llama poderosamente la atención leer que algunos usuarios se pregunten el ¿por qué de la deserción de usuarios en el ecosistema?, ¿Por qué luego de unas cuantas publicaciones los usuarios abandonan? y me preguntó ¿Realmente no lo saben, o se hacen los tontos?, Yo en estos días durante las charlas que hemos impartido, (Ya hemos realizado más de 30) he aprovechado la ocasión para preguntar a esos usuarios que conozco, y que muchos de ellos iniciaron conmigo hace tres años en la blockchain y que sé, han abandonado sus cuentas, ¿porque han dejado de publicar? y en un 100% de las respuestas me dijeron que porque no los tomaron en cuenta.
¡Si lo sé!, me van a decir que a estos usuarios les vendieron el ecosistema #hive como una forma para ganar dinero, y tal vez así haya sido, a muchos se nos presentó como una oportunidad de ganar dinero y que como dejaron de recibir curaciones se fueron, pero les tengo noticias, no todos los que están dentro de la blockchain lo hacen para ganar dinero, aún cuando en la mayoría de los que publicitan a hive mencionan el hecho de que una de las ventajas del ecosistema es que pueden monetizar sus contenidos, pero ajá, dejemos eso de lado, vamos a hacer de cuenta que nunca he leído eso en ningúna parte.
Analizando la situación y hablando desde mi perspectiva como usuario frecuente, les puedo asegurar que muchísimas veces a los nuevos usuarios se les deja ir, no se van solos, y esto ocurre porque no son valorados, porque no se trata de recibir un pago a sus contenidos, de ser así hace mucho me habría retirado, y si no me cree, entre a mi blog y revise, no se trata de que a los usuarios les den o no algún pago, de lo que se trata realmente, es de hacerle saber a estos usuarios, sobre todo a los nuevos que sus contenidos tienen importancia dentro del ecosistema #hive, ¿que cuesta dejar un comentario bonito, algo que anime a seguir adelante? algo que te ayude a mejorar, que lindo sería si esto ocurriera.
Pero muy por el contrario, cuando los nuevos usuarios hacen sus publicaciones, la mayoría son ignorados por muchos de los que hoy en día están consolidados dentro del ecosistema, y se que no pueden mirarlos y comentarles todos los post, pero con algo tan simple como dejar un comentario, hoy en uno, mañana en otro, se marcaría la diferencia, ya que son muchos los que están bien posicionados, porque le estaríamos dando la importancia que tiene que alguien le dedique una, dos e incluso más horas de su vida a nuestra blockchain.
Puedo apostar lo que quieran que más de uno se va a burlar de lo que acá les digo, pero pónganse por un momento en los zapatos de esas personas que apenas inician su viaje dentro de la blockchain, tardan tres horas haciendo un post, luego publican, y pasa el tiempo y no reciben ni un voto, ni un comentario, al día siguiente igual, cero comentarios, cero votos, ¿saben qué mensaje les estamos enviando?, Les estamos diciendo que ellos no pertenecen aquí, y si a ti te tratan mal en un sitio: ¿Tú regresarías allí?
Ahora bien, yo me preguntó: Hablamos de que todos somos socios de este ecosistema pero, ¿realmente tratamos a todos como socios?, hablamos de que el escenario es trascender la #web2 y llegar a la masificación, pero cuando alguien trabaja en pro de esta también es ignorado, hablamos de que aquí no existe la censura, pero en el momento en que te atreves a decir las verdades que todos saben, (pero que no dicen por miedo), en ese momento comienzan a atacarte, o te votan negativo, o simplemente te sumergen en la oscuridad del sistema, como probablemente ocurra con este post.
Entiendo que en #hive no se tienen jerarquías, pero existen algunas individualidades que creen ser los únicos con derecho a construir, con derecho a soñar, individualidades que no corrigen a alguien si se equivoca, pero que si lo atacan, no alientan cuando alguien quiere surgir, más bien le ponen trabas, no son capaces de salir de la burbuja que ellos mismos han creado con pequeños grupos y allegados, y todo el que no forme parte de ese grupo es ignorado, y hasta satanizado, se preguntan porque los usuarios abandonan, pero cuando ven un post de alguien nuevo (que no sea de presentación) nadie le impulsa a no desanimarse, lo ven como un enemigo, porque tal vez público en una comunidad distinta.
¿De qué estamos hablando realmente en #hive?, ¿acaso es un delito publicar en algunas comunidades?, últimamente algunos actores han hecho de este ecosistema un lugar muy poco acogedor para algunos, se llenan la boca diciendo que construyen y lo que hacen es destruir, creo que en #hive está llegando el momento de hacer, más que de decir.
Decía mi abuela que" papel aguanta todo", ¿qué quiero decir con esto? simple, que en un post puedo decir que soy ingeniero aeroespacial, y que he ido a la luna y al planeta marte, pero en la realidad no soy más que una simple ama de casa, ojo y no tiene nada de malo ser ama de casa, (de hecho yo soy una), es decir en mi contenido público que soy el maestro de maestros, pero soy incapaz de tenderle la mano a alguien que está dando sus primeros pasos.
Desde el momento que inicie a ayudar a los nuevos usuarios he podido observar indiferencia, para estas personas, en mi caso particular, siempre les digo a los nuevos usuarios que esté ecosistema debe ser visto como una herramienta que les permita crecer y desarrollarse como seres integrales, sería hipócrita de mi parte decirles que es para obtener recompensas y que cuando vean mi muro me digan que es mentira, les digo que #hive es un constructor de sueños, que yo encontré en él esa pieza que le hacía falta a mi vida.
Ciertamente hive es la mejor manera de trascender esa propietaria #web2, pero seamos capaces de abrir los ojos ante esta realidad latente, no todo lo que brilla es oro, y en hive no todo está escrito, esto apenas está naciendo, pero si queremos que nazca triunfante, no podemos voltear la mirada y ser indiferentes, necesitamos darle valor a quienes realmente creen en el ecosistema, a quien pueda sumarle valor a nuestra colmena.
