This painting talks about a young man beating his local drum with joy and great enthusiasm. I am more inspired to paint drummers even when it comes to painting something that portrays entertainment.
I painted this direct with paint and brush trying to achieve a more 3d look by fading the other side of his hand and his drum to my piece of paper. More like making a high-relief sculpture you know?
