Sunk away in your own thoughts. The world of thoughts is more real than reality. You feel weightless, you float, immersed in a magical world. Like a deep sea dive in the Red Sea: so different.
"Sunk in Thoughts" is part of a series of works I started in 2019 about strong emotions and deep feelings.
Process
The creation of some works goes straight like an arrow from start to end. Other works take unexpected turns and can take a while to find their final form. The first is often the result of inspiration, while the latter will give you unexpected surprises.
This one, though, definitely took “the long way home”, which took me some 6 months…
