BACK IN THE STUDIO
#originalart #artist #hiveaustralia
So i have been away from painting for a few weeks really now. Cleaned the studio a couple of days ago and did a little work on a bigger painting. However i have not done a #dailypainting #artwork in a few weeks.
the idea is a quick warm up... keep the fingers moving and not be scared to try whatever you like because its only a short time of painting and a small cheep canvas. its fantastic for timid painters or those that have lost mojo.. and if you keep doing the same thing over and over and over... you get better and faster :-) this way i paint 7 skies a week... not 1 over a month.
I try very hard to paint something little most days of the week. Just had a few off.... whoops. Its just been super busy and i got out of the habit.
Anyway GOSH it was #hardwork It just did not come together the way i wanted it to. I might go back and fix the top cloud which naturally i hate. But the idea is not to do that... just start again from scratch.
Which i actually did 5 mins after finishing this one
The Second one that came together in like 5 mins...
While i like it less... (possibly) the speed i did this in shows that my fingers were back working again.
Side by side
DAILY PAINTING
I love doing these quick little warm up pieces as often as i can. Its just practice practice practice and a great way to warm up before doing anything that is important. It stops me slopping paint over a canvas in a rush and making a muddy mess.
Anyway Anyone else do DAILY PAINTING?
