Hello inu.jim, I loved your design and I think it is original, I have a suggestion for the gif. There is a gif making program called easy gif animator; This program has several effects that would make your gifs even more interesting (such as sliding the images, fading them, among others) the only thing is that sometimes a memory error hits it, well the version I use looks like this but you I would recommend using the ultimate version.
