Aquí traigo mi intento para el reto de Nebai DTIYS, considero que podría haberme quedado mucho mejor, pero por algún motivo tuve problemas dibujando. Era como si hubiese perdido práctica de un día para otro.
Supongo que simplemente no estaba en mi mejor momento porque ya creo que estoy mejor.
Here goes my attempt for Nebai's DTIYS challenge, I think It could have been much better, but for some reason I had problems drawing. It was as if I had lost practice overnight.
I guess I just wasn't at my best because I think I’m better now.
Me dio por hacerlo un poco más “edgy” y me basé un poco en el sentimiento que transmite la Raven (DC Comics) de los New 52. También me di la libertad de hacerle los ojos rojos al cuervo, que, por cierto: considero que me quedó re bien.
I decided to make it a little more "edgy" and I based it a little on the feeling that Raven (DC Comics) of the New 52 transmits. I also gave myself the freedom to make the crow's eyes red, which, by the way: I consider ended up looking pretty good.
Aquí pueden notar que el brazo derecho (el brazo derecho de ella) está anatómicamente mal dibujado, al momento de pasarlo a digital lo arreglé como pude.
En cuanto al cuervo: es la primera vez que dibujo uno xD, lo veo bastante bien.

As for the raven: it's my first time drawing one xD.
Cuando tenga una tableta gráfica seré feliz. Se me suelen pasar detalles que ya dibujé y que no incluyo cuando utilizo la herramienta pluma.

Para el cuervo utilicé un pincel con textura de pelaje. Yo sé que son plumas, nada más que es lo que había.
Disculpen la zona que falta del brazo; es lo que ajusté ya casi al final con un “liquify” para que no se viera tan mal.
For the crow I used a brush with fur texture. I know they are feathers, but that was what I had.

Por ahì escuché que cuando la iluminaciòn es de un color cálido, las sombras deben ser frías y viceversa.Se me pasé la parte de la iluminaciòn, solo incluí sombras azules en “multiplicar”. No siempre se tiene que seguir las reglas, aunque es bueno saberlas.
I heard somewhere that when the lighting is a warm color, the shadows must be cold and vice versa. I missed the lighting part, I only included blue shadows in "multiply". You don't always have to follow the rules, although It’s good to know them.
La ya tan típica parte en la que duplico la capa de las lìneas y la tiño de un color rosa, para luego borrar partes en las que no la quiero usando un pincel suave.

Los ojos rojo brillante le dan un aspecto espectral al cuervo, algo así como Raven en su forma demoníaca. Es tan fácil de hacer como dibujar el humo con un tono oscuro, bajarle la opacidad y en otra capa con un tono màs claro ponerla en “color dodge”.
The red bright eyes give the raven a ghostly look, kind of like Raven “DC” in her demon form. It is as easy to do as draw the smoke with a dark tone, lower the opacity and in another layer with a lighter tone put it in "color dodge".
Para ir probando, aumenté la cantidad de humo que sale de sus ojos.

Apliqué varios rayos de luz muy discretos en algunas zonas; el más notable sería el que está en el rostro de la chica.

Faltaba algo, así que ahí va un difuminado para el fondo como siempre; así el personaje y su pequeño amigo sobresalen más.

Para finalizar: ajusté un poco más el brazo en la zona de la manga porque se veía regular.
Vuelvo a decir que definitivamente podría haberme quedado mejor, es que me volví loco dibujando el cuerpo; como si se perdiera toda mi práctica.
To finish: I adjusted the arm a little more in the sleeve area because it looked regular.
