Today I wanted to share with you a bit of the process of one of my inktober drawings, if you want to see the others I made a post with the compilation video! and there is also my instagram and my page at the end of this post!
Day 22 - Chef.
Draw one of my OC (original character) dressed as a witch who is cooking with her magic!
I had a sketch that I used to practice while watching the enviv of one of my favorite artists from here in Peru, her name is Jessi Ridi (jessi_ridi) on instagram, she always works with watercolors and temperas and yesterday she took the day to work on the live with inks! which was really fun so I painted that sketch in practice mode then compared with the drawing I still had in process and it gave me a lot of ideas.
When I finished the lines, I started on the floor, with sepia and yellow ink joining them to create shades and separated to generate different tones.)
I began to work with the clothes having finished the details of the cauldron and the food that flies with its magic. with shades of red, yellow and some alcohol to give a certain effect that unfortunately is not noticeable in the photos
Finish off by adding highlights and shadows, the glitter with white ink, and the shadows with black, brown, purple and green in some areas.
also work the background with yellow, blue, purple for magic effect.
I hope you liked it and upvote <3 each collaboration helps us to advance and improve our art implements
