Hi everyone! How are you doing today?
The is my recent personal project that I completed.
It took me a while to put this together. I'm happy to finally finished it
Title: TEARS IN GOLD
Tears in Gold explores the quiet suffering hidden behind the pursuit of fame, riches, and admiration. The left side of the portrait presents a smile adorned with a crown, a symbol of success, power, and the golden image the world often applauds. Yet wrapped around that crown is pain. (a crown of thorns that speaks to the emotional and spiritual cost of such pursuits).
The right side reveals the truth behind the mask. A tear falling from a solemn expression. It represents the internal world many never see: the weight of pressure, loneliness, or the sacrifices made to maintain an image of success.
This piece is a reminder that even in the brightest light, shadows remain. The gold we chase may shine, but it can also burn. And behind every smile in gold, there may be tears too heavy to show.
