1.Don't split what you see in different entities. Say for example you have a tree in front of you, automaticaly your mind is going to separate it into a trunk and a foliage. If you do so, yo will end up with a 5-year old boy drawing. Regression!
2.Don't draw lines, draw surfaces This one requires a little bit of practice, since we have been told from mediocre art teachers to draw contour-lines. Instead draw a poligon or a scriblle, anything which have 2 dimensions. Does nt really matter how the shape you draw, pay maximum attention at its location.
3.Listen to the silences. In music, a silence is a note. Without silences, music is not possible. In a drawing context, a silence is an empty mark in your drawing. Silences are the inner secrete of Non-Verbal drawing.
