I don't know if I have ever posted a mouth drawing here but this is the first one I remember or at least, know. Before I started out with this, while editing with Snapseed, I blurred the picture details and I saw it kinda gave the smudge feel so I screen captured it and I compared it with the final smudge I did . My thought was that, the smudge process bears semblance to a blurred out picture and I thought maybe I could just blur a picture and say I did a smudge art.. Lol.
But I saw the great difference. Smudge may look easy but there's a lot to it that I still don't know yet.
There are actually some wallpapers on my phone that I wondered how they ever realised the perfect skin blend and smooth hair texture but it's occurring to me now that it is smudge and it is actually realisable for me. I'm thinking of mixing my detailed sketch with smudge art where necessary for a 'perfect' outcome. I'll still figure out how to go about it and when I do, I'll surely let you guys see.
For now, I am still on my baby steps. Yesterday was an eye, today we have lips. It gave me some problems but I gave it my best shot. I hope tomorrow's 'best shot' will be way better than this. I could decide to make a full face tomorrow. I wasn't able to use any highlight for the already light skin tone, If I did, it would be negligible.
Oh lest I forget! @ploimrt you wanted to see the lips
