This is my first ever try in Saunders Waterford paper. A long cherished dream of painting on a proper high quality Watercolor paper. I was too cautious with this and just painted a A5. Interestingly the colours turned to be bright and water flowing more than expected. This was bound to be as I had been painting on cotton papers which didn't have sizing .. had a small screw up as the spray water while doing the background ran too fast than expected to the horizon area. But could recover it in the later wash.
Painting a facebon such tiny area was cumbersome. But was lucky this time it came out better than expected.
Sketching was easy as there are very less objects here. I had to rub off couple of times but the paper is strong and didn't crack.
40 minutes total time
Happy painting day finally 😀
