Hello Everyone! π€ππΎ
You see, there's something magical about a good laugh. It's raw, contagious and honest. But today, we will just be focusing on the contagiousness of laughter, because that charming quality of it actually motivated me to make this drawing and I'm also gonna be showing you how to do it.
But before we proceed, I need you to smile or laugh as beautifully as this drawing. Come on, my friend...... You owe me that.πππ
So I began with a light graphite sketch to shape the nose and lips, then added the shadows using Marieβs soft charcoal pencil. I tried to be careful and gentle with the teeth by making sure they were realistic and also not too bright.
I used my Tombow mono zero eraser to pull out light details, especially along the gum and the lip edges. For blending, tissue paper helped me maintain smooth gradients around the mouth and cheek.
This drawing is not just some random art; it's a reminder to let go, to laugh more and most importantly, to put a smile on the faces of those around us however we can.
