Hello everyone, how are you doing today?
I wanted to try something new and learn the advanced features of Krita. I am still new to digital art. So, I decided to play with some brushes and soon I had a scene in mind.
I started to paint and it took way more than I expected but in return, I got to learn more about how layer blending modes worked and how to paint reflections and use lightning to improve the environment. It was a fun ride.

Here is how I painted it.
Well, this looks weird, right? This was the result of testing weird brushes. I did change it later though.
I love to paint trees. I love to capture them with my camera too and drawing these are always fun. I added a few more after this screenshot.
Painting the leaves was fun too. I got a brush with a nice texture and painted the leaves.
I added some reflection to the tree trunks and on the leaves.
Next was painting the shadows, one of my fears... xD. I did an Okay job there, I guess.
This is the finished painting, I deliberately desaturated the foreground and the background clouds and used highly saturated colours on leaves to guide your eyes to them. Looking now at the finished artwork. My eyes go to the right side, on those birds with so much contrast.
Anyway, let me know if you like what you are seeing. Constructive criticism is always appreciated.
